I go to concerts all the time alone, especially since my concert going buddy moved. I've never been to an Angels game alone though. Sucks nobody's wanted to go with me to games this year, only been to 3 so far. Even when the team sucks it's always fun going to the stadium.
I haven't read this whole thread but that Shuck call on the home run earlier was BS, they need cameras behind the foul pole so umps can get more views.
Also if you watch Arrested Development's new season you will be able to hear Mark Cherry's hit single "Getaway," which is exclusive to the show. You're hopelessly hopeless if you look for it anywhere else.
It sucks that they took The Larry Sanders Show off Netflix, one of my favorite comedies ever. I could imagine a show with a similar vibe based on Mike Scioscia and his coaching staff.
I do think Nick's death definitely changed the future of our pitching staff, I imagine he would have been a key part of our rotation for a long time and certain moves wouldn't have happened, but we'll never know for sure how it would have changed certain transactions.
It's not about being cynical, I'm not saying they have to put bags over their head, but to cheer like that after losing to possibly one of the worst teams of all time is just funny. Even when I was 9 or 10 I knew losing to the Devil Rays was real bad.
I'm not saying they should be booing, but you'd never see fans cheering like their team just swept a major rival by Yankees, Red Sox, or Phillies fans if they lost 2 straight to Houston.
