nah - as pointed out by others on prior posts in this thread.......Texas has actually gotten better since dealing Darvish away....... and now he's either about to be placed on the DL or at least missing his next and possibly two starts -- not that the Dodgers need to worry about wins right now. -
yeah -- our 'stopper' Nolasco tomorrow night. Beltre -- two or three HRs tomorrrow ?

the team that has to be concerned about the playoffs is Houston........they ran away and hid from the rest of the AL West the first half but have not played that great of late. they'll win the division by at least ten games -- but not playing their best baseball right now. they were playing at the Dodgers' clip the first half.

Texas right there with us -- they must have been winning when we were winning. because we were out of it and then went on that run and suddenly we're a playoff team !! or at least a real contender. Texas was out of it with us back a month ago.............

Simmons almost too good for this team -- hate to see his talent and excellent baseball instincts wasted. as well as his gold glove.........need to get tapes of the Baltimore series to the gold glove voters who may have already cast their votes for Lindor.
