all pen guys available for a deadline deal. line up some pitching prospects -- not going to get a top tier starter but perhaps a quality young arm that could be a key set up guy down the road. no need for Halos to hang on to folks currently in the pen. Sell. Now. Preferably before the ChiSox series ends this week.

I think TANK and I had Little League coaches from the same mold. the guy I had made you run laps after practice if you struck out looking.

Upton was either pretty good on D at one point or at least had a reputation of being a decent OF'er with the glove. I don't remember him being this bad last year. And I am talking about the past month or two. Seems like I turn on the game and Upton has made some fielding blunder -- not always scored an "E".

this JD Martinez talk and 'missed opportunity' stuff sounds like the couple getting into a major argument on how they're going to spend the lottery money they haven't and will never win. but let's argue about how we'd spend it.

we are one piece away from competing -- yes sir !! in fact, I can predict with some certainty that there will be some solid competition at Angels Stadium in Anaheim this October........... RV and boat salesmen will be very busy -- competing.......

Upton seems to have played himself into a candidate for the DH spot this season. well, he did throw a guy out at second tonight (a guy who should not have gone to second)......... but Upton's glove has been less than stellar --- at least the past month, maybe longer.

you bring a guy in to take the bat out of Valbuena's hands? Are the White Sox trying to give this game back to the Halos?

I agree a line up change like the one mentioned above might shake stuff up. a more versatile 1B would be helpful --- someone like a guy who played his tail off here (and at all times) Darrin Erstad. our play setters set GIDPs up for the other side. Saw a stat that indicated Halos are 18th (least to most) in GIDPs this year - and that was an improvement over last year.

any one else tired of the Mercury Insurance ads....... gotta be some of the worst/ dumbest ads out there. Geez. Why do I watch tv at all?

the frustrating thing about watching this team is we've got some really good ballplayers on this club. Trout, the best in MLB; Simmons a star in his own right and somewhat under-rated (although he won the GG over Lindor last season which is something I did not see happening), Ohtaini -- even when not pitching is a good ballplayer. that's what makes Sosh's position precarious (perhaps not this year but for next) -- I am convinced someone else could get more out of this team.
