watching Game ONE of the Stanley Cup playoffs -- clicked onto the box score of Halos game -- looks like Garrett Richards is pitching a great game......complete game shutout??? Don't see many of those these days........great outing after his last outing debacle..........good to see he can bounce back like that..........

I think Sutter is great -- love his interviews with the short clipped right to the point answers to dumb questions from reporters........ Kings not looking great tonight but we head to the third tied up (again). Let's beat these guys.........

A true baseball man -- not many left and we're losing them fast........although Jim Fregosi was about ten years younger than ZIM, Fregosi was another 'one of those baseball guys' -- as in one of those guys who's been in baseball all his life, really never earned a paycheck from anything other than baseball........got drafted young, back in the day when there were fewer college players and went right into the game, had a successful run as a player, then turned to managing and coaching. ZIM had quite the run as bench coach to Joe Torre with the Yankees....... a real loss for MLB because we're not replacing these kind of guys.........

Houston, the Angels have a problem -- another year of playing poorly against the Lastros.......Halos not really setting the AL West on fire........

CHUCK -- OK. I understand. Just want to know....It's a lot to coordinate. just want to know if I need to start looking for tickets -- would like to sit with some AW,com folks at the game. I guess at this point, if there's no plan in place to get a game suite for June 21, then it's likely not happening. If it's not happening, could you and Brian confirm that sometime early this week? I don't want to start looking for tickets until the AW.com suite option is off the table.

yeah. NBC has to like the match up -- A Montreal / LA or Chicago match up would have been pretty good as well as when a Canadian team is in the finals the whole nation tunes in.........haven't had a Canadian based NHL team as a Cup winner since Montreal beat that LA Team in what? 93? the McSorely Stick series........ but NY-LA series is great for NBC and Canadian fans (there will be some fall off) will tune in because they always watch hockey and there's a bunch of their guys on these teams.....in fact, the Cup spends much of the off-season North of the border regardless of whether a Canadian based NHL team wins it or not...... NHL hockey is just great and the playoffs in particular.......I just can't understand folks who say they don't watch or don't like the NHL........

great stuff and gotta admit -- I had a real bad feeling about this game when we lost game 6 as the old adage is who-ever wins game 6 usually wins a 7 game series -- either closing it out or winning Game 7.......and then back to Chicago where I thought we had to control the game early -- which we didn't -- although I thought the Kings played well.......but down 2-zip on the road in Game 7 not where you want to be........ Kings just refuse to lose, find a way to sort of steal another victory and onto the FINALS. I agree with others here who commented during the game that some of the penalty calls vs. the Kings seemed pretty ticky tack penalties.

TANK -- we're all loving this -- this is why the NHL and hockey is such a great sport..... wanna get Bob Miller and Jim Fox's take on all this......

Geez -- it was that close...... What a great Blackhawks team.........really took Kings through the paces.......Chicago is just plain tough........ If Blackhawks got the bounce to win this game, I would have been Chicago all the way over the Rangers......(probably would have been a sweep). The LA Kings - NY Rangers Cup Final is sort of a let down after this series.

Isn't this stuff just great........I mean in that OT, Kings pretty much dominated but the Blackhawks sure had their chances and a bounce here and there and this game goes the other way...... Watching the NY Rangers / Montreal series was sort of slow motion compared to this series...... Gotta believe the WC is going to roll.......

WHEW -- both teams deserved to win that game........ great game........ Dustin Brown won't touch the WC trophy!!!

if fact, the winner of this game should be dumped into the loser's bracket to play the Rangers and then the winner of that series plays the winner of WC for the Cup --- that would mean a re-match of this series...... that's about where the EC stands in contrast to the WC.

Go Rangers? If I were a NY fan, I wouldn't want to play either one of these teams....... if Chicago wins, Blackhawks in 4 over Rangers. If Kings win, Kings in Five over Rangers.

well, my thinking was if we were tied or down one going into the third period in this game, it would be a tough climb...... we can't keep coming back only to give it up again -- that's been the story of Games 5 & 6 letting the Blackhawks get here to Game 7........ we need the breaks and we're clearly NOT getting them......not sure if that luck is going to change in the third quarter..... we need a power play or two for us now........

did not like the way the second period ended....... game momentum from Kings 3-3 tying goal turned quickly the last three minutes of the game.

geez -- we're not getting the breaks --- four or five power plays for Chicago -- a no stick for Quick goal -- we needed to be perfect and lucky to win this game and we're neither........ Kings are playing pretty well but need to play even better AND be getting the breaks to beat these guys on their ice.

what a save.!.....but we're back short handed again I think.......looked like we had every chance to put the puck into the net at the other end........

man, turn overs...........
