Texas really stinks - just listening to the game during the 8th inning has been tough to listen to.

I think Texas has made three or four pitching changes this inning. bases loaded , one out.......Callaspo up. game might be over by midnight at this rate.

Texas in the bottom of the 8th not exactly playing stellar ball...... now it's one out with base loaded. two infield singles, a wild pitch moved runners to second and third and then a walk to load em up. a fly out no advance by the runners. and now our old pal, Callaspo is pinch hitting for the A's bases loaded, one out and ANOTHER TEXAS pitching change.....I think it's the third/ perhaps fourth of the inning......... game should be over by midnight at this rate......

ok -- if A's hold on -- do we want them to win tomorrow afternoon so a Halos victory clinches it ? or do we just want it over NOW ASAP.

ERIC -- would be nice if the Halos did that -- at this point the games are probably going end within 15-20 minutes of each other...... would be awesome if they did that (infield grass watching Jumbotron) and Doolittle got lit up for Texas come from behind. Now A's - Texas game slowed up with pitching changes and just slow stuff that makes baseball boring to many. new pitcher on......no out, one on. Bottom 8th. 2-2 count. but probably another Texas pitching change coming up. now there's another infield single -- runners at first and second none out.......and a Texas pitching change......... starting to seem like the last 30 seconds of an NBA game.

Street is on in non-save situation......Halos are serious here. Donaldson gets infield hit for A's to lead off bottom 8th and now he's limping at first........possible PR -- pinching change for Texas.

Texas goes down easily in the top of the 8th. Smarjdzia (spelled wrong - I'll never get his name spelled right, it's the Notre Dame TE) pitching a gem for A's. pitch count somewhat up so hopefully A's go to pen for the 9th-- only way for Texas to get off the mat.

so if the Halos game at the ballyard ends before the A's/ Texas game does Anaheim folks let fans stay and watch the end of the A's/ Texas game on the Jumbotron??? they should.......let's see if that happens.......

gotta say this CJ Wilson performance tonight is really reassuring......exactly what was needed....... I think Smith is going to pitch the ninth........
