  1. Lots to like about this game. Neto, Hicks, Drury and even Rendon and Adell added offense today. Angels hit 5-10 with runners in scoring position, which is way better than it has been. Detmers pitched well after a shaky first inning and if Suarez wouldn’t have shit the bed his first inning, his line score after that inning was solid. Nice to break to losing slide.
  2. Jose Suarez is not fooling anybody and now just drilled a hitter.
  3. Rengifo re-aggravated his hamstring in the first inning. I’m already breaking this shit out.
  4. Came out of the box on a possible double play ground ball and immediately pulled up lame. Grabbed his hamstring and Washington came out and took him out of the game.
  5. This photo was taken from Capistrano Beach about an hour before yesterday’s rain storm.
  6. This little guy agrees, @Tank. So do I.
  7. The weird thing about Sandoval is he tends to be laser focused on high profile/leverage games, for the most part. It’s the games against the A’s, Royals and lower leverage games where he falls apart. And often very early in the game. I know he has stated he has been working on things in Spring Training, but he hasn’t exactly looked very good in whatever he’s “working on.”
  8. I still cannot figure out how guys who are trying to win spots on the big league club, go up to the plate and proceed to watch 3 strikes go right by and never take the bat of their shoulder. I suppose they like the weather in Salt Lake or wherever they end up.
  9. Angels with another runner at 3rd with less than 2 outs. Lets see if they can drive someone in
  10. Haha. I turn my back for one second and……poof. She’s gone. It’s actually a pretty big story up here. Some friends and I were talking about it yesterday.
  11. Szabo. I remember it well. Good memory Slappy.
  12. That is an awesome story. Small world is right.
  13. Rhett is a good guy @Chuckeven though he is a die hard Dodger homer. I’ve known him and his family for over 30 years. Looks like a great time was had by all and glad you enjoyed the beers and festivities. See you out here soon.
  14. The Urban Dictionary may explain both of these fine quotes and may have your answer @Chuck. There are several answers to choose from.
