  1. You get a ball, you get a ball, you get a ball...,
  2. We’re getting peppered out here with souvenirs
  3. Please dear god. Let the skies open and pour down on all 479 of us
  4. The Angels seem as disinterested in this game as most of the fans here are
  5. It will be a battle between all 12 of us. the stadium applause sounds like an elementary school talent show.
  6. Well the wife and I are here at the stadium with 479 of our closest Angel friends today.
  7. I don't think you read that entire statement. My ENTIRE statement said "Yes, the offense is hitting the ball in the series. But there are still issues hitting with RISP. The key hits aren't there against quality pitching." This statement was made viewing the Angels as a team for this entire season, not just for the Twins series. Re-read my first sentence in the statement. I will also stand by the statement that while the Angels scored 7 runs today, they were also 0-12 with RISP for the first 7 innings. I agree that the starting pitching has stunk. I stated that. I didn't intend this post to be the barometer for the Twins series, and if it was taken that way, I should have phrased it better, I suppose. My post was more for the entire season as a whole.
  8. I remember that first home game when Tommy stranded 7 or 8 runners on base. I thought, "what a joke this guy is." I am so glad Tommy is making me eat crow for that comment. I just hope he can keep this up for another 110 or so more games.
  9. Purely accidental. but as i re-read it, it's way funnier in the accent
  10. Nice rally falls short. Sure would have been nice to cash in one of those first 12 opportunities with RISP. Promising, but it's still an L in the column Thanks Trevor Cahill
  11. Come on Morin. Serve it up like used to do for the Angels
  12. My God. That is stunning. And by stunning, I mean completely dogshit. Wow
  13. In just one game, Walsh has almost as many hits as Bour did in 41. I wish that was sarcasm
  14. This type of game was the barometer to see where the Angels really are as a team this year. Yes, the offense is hitting the ball in the series. But there are still issues hitting with RISP. The key hits aren't there against quality pitching. Starting pitching, aside from the first game in the series, has been bad to awful. Again, this is magnified against good teams. Now, we have to factor in horrible in-game management. That was a factor that was magnified last night. Just another thing to worry about. While there are some good things to take from this series, the reality is this series picked the scabs and they are bleeding still
  15. Trevor Cahill's ERA is now at 6.75 and about to get higher.
