I've wanted to trade Kendrick since last season. Not necessarily because of anything he did wrong but due to his value and contract status (which looks somewhat appealing to other clubs) Overall he is a productive hitter for us and above average with the glove. I don't think we should dump him over 1 mistake at 2nd base yesterday. Way to jump the gun, OP. If Lindsey was a little more developed at this point in the season I'd be all for trading Howie for a closer and leaving it to Green at 2B with Lindsey as a backup in AAA if needed. Howie definitely has his moments (last Saturday for example), but his GIDP and RISP% is the real nail biter here.

The NL West has produced two of the last 3 World Series champions. Sure the Padres are in there and the up and down Rockies, but its not a pushover division either. Kershaw has a full K/9 higher than Felix since 09. A slight advantage in the HR/9. Their BB/9 are now about even. With a slight edge to Kershaw. Two better WAR seasons than Felix's best. Only reason Felix has a higher WAR the past 6 years is because you're using Kershaw's half season rookie year. Yes, I know he's in the NL and doesn't face the DH. That might even things up, but right now at this very moment. Give me the lefty.

False. Clayton Kershaw has been better since about 2009. Which is around the time Felix actually started being a true #1 with Ace type numbers.
