Probably due to the fact that he isn't anywhere near his 2010/2011 season prime. Posted back to back 5.7 WAR seasons and hasn't sniffed 3 since. K/9 is dropping, HR/9 is rising and he hasn't hit 200 IP since 2011. His FIP and xFIP are very high as well. I love Weaver, but he isn't what he used to be. Still a top 15 pitcher most likely, but no longer considered "elite" imo.

This was such a great night. Just got home from the game. Throwback night was a huge success. The crowd was totally into it. The Ducks played an AMAZING game. A few defensive slip ups from Vatanen and Lindholm but aside from that it was great. Two quick goals and about 10 SOG within the first few minutes. I picked up my Ducks Die hards kit and bought a new alternate jersey. The new team store is awesome. So much bigger and way more to choose from. I can't wait for my next game.

Tonight was such a great game. Everyone was doing their part. Offense, defense, goaltending etc. PK looked great. The crowd was electric early on until we really pulled away. I'm so damn impressed with Silfverberg. That guy is a stud. What happened with Bones? I saw Perreault get hit pretty hard, but I never saw what happened with Bonino. Also, Penner looked like a young kid again. Tons of speed and power out there. Maroon with a great scrap and being the power out there while Beleskey is out. Allen and Vatanen also. Every one did their part.
