    I call BS on that. If true though, Trumbo might haul in more than we anticipated. Not cus his value is that high, but for the need.

    Would you guys do this? Trumbo, Aybar, Jepson to AZ for Miley, Skaggs, and Gregorius/Owings. We get pitching, and an Aybar replacement and Arizona gets 2 MLB proven talent and a reliever they need. I'd much rather get Owings over Gregorius, but I wouldn't nit pick.

    True, but even before the season ended we knew Trumbo would more than likely be moved for an arm. The "we're thinking about holding onto him" statement JD made was just a ploy imo.

    I'm starting to think that maybe not making HUGE moves and getting the right pieces will be the best route for this team going into 2014. Play with a chip on your shoulders. Nobody right now considers the Angels a contender. Maybe thats what they need to light a fire under their asses.

    Figured I'd give this one a bump. Finally caught up on the DVR. The fall finale was amazing. Glad this show got picked up for a 2nd season. Spader continues to amaze.

    Ellsbury is an injury risk and he also doesn't play a more valuable position like Cano does. 6 years in the majors with 2 good seasons doesn't really scream 7 year 153 mill. Cano on the other hand, 5 straight 4+ WAR seasons and has played 160 games in all of those seasons (7 straight total with exception to 159 games twice)
