    A #3 is average isn't it? Middle of the rotation guy = average. Mid to high 3 ERA, gives up the long ball close to Ervin Santana and Joe Blanton rates. 2011 was his only above average season and even that wasn't anything spectacular. Our money should be invested elsewhere imo. Save it for Trout, or save it for next offseason. Arroyo would be a solid contribution to this team on a short 1/2 year deal and far less money.

    Of that list, GB. I want Vatanen, Perreault, Silfvy, Penner and Winnik. We'll have plenty of money to go after a top line forward or a Dman. We'll still have plenty of room to spare. It'll be interesting if we bring back Perreault though. Rakell is on a roll in Norfolk this season. He might have the 4th line C locked in next year.

    Awesome game from Hiller tonight. As bummed as I was that Gibson didn't get the start, I don't think we win that game without Hiller between the pipes. Cogs yet again! Dude is awesome. I love that Koivu/Cogs/Winnik line.

    Just took a look at Jack's stats. Wow. Nothing impressive AT ALL. He put together #3 type numbers even with his insane IPs.
