Look how nice and easy his swing was. I feel like he got in the bad habit of swinging so hard. He just needs to have a nice easy swing, wait for his pitch, and he's got plenty of power.

Certainly didn't seem that bad...but man, Stassi has been killing us...down to .192...and earning a lot of haters around here, me included. I think what hurts the most is a lot of us know he should be hitting a lot, lot better.

See this is what I'm talking about when I hear people talk about a new stadium. I LOVE Angels Stadium. Do some revamps, but keep it. It just feels like a ballpark, and it's just so nice to go back to a place that feels like home. BTW you always post ADORABLE pics (in all seriousness they are great).

So he's better in the bandbox, where he plays more than half his games, as usual, my point stands. Thanks for the help. We can only imagine what Ohtani's numbers would be if he played there that often.

If Judge wasn't wearing that uniform getting the stankee advantage with pitch calls and playing half his games in that bandbox his numbers wouldn't be nearly what they are. If the judges overlooked "team performance" like they did last year, and in Trout's MVP seasons, no reason to think they won't do it again. As much as MLB might not like it, I think Ohtani has more fans than Judge.

I posted this in the game day thread late Saturday night but I think it bears repeating, with how much a lot of people here hate the A'ths (I actually like the A'ths you gotta give credit to a team who's always getting dumped on plus they have the greatest uniforms in all of sport) I think this shines some light on their commentators who I enjoy. They brought up the Judge/Ohtani MVP discussion and the color commentator talked about Ohtani's win record/ERA/K's per inning pitched and then said "and I'm looking to find that line for Aaron Judge, but I don't see his ERA, his WHIP, I don't know if it got lost in the paperwork or something but I can't seem to find it..." Basically saying what a joke it is to even consider anyone but Ohtani and to anyone who's in question about who should get it.

I love Velazquez out in the field as much as anybody pairing up with Fletcher, but we cannot have that glaring hole in the batting order.

I think the green looks nice. Would you rather have all the seats red? Ugh. Makes the parking lot a whole hell of a lot easier to get in out of than say, parks in the center of the city. Food inside the park? That can easily be changed. There's a bunch of places close to the park that we used to stop by beforehand then walk to the stadium.

I dunno why you guys were hating on this Ford guy, he's been getting some pretty decent cuts, nice offensive swings, and has 2 pretty nice hits. Lets see how long this lasts until the Angels rest of the lineup/batting coach ruins him.

I actually like the TB guys, especially the play by play guy. I listen to them quite a bit because the Rays can actually be a pretty fun team to watch.
