I hope Stassi gets to keep his personal life to himself, nobody needs to know his business. The Angels have become such a rotating door with injuries and acquisitions, honestly I forgot about him being on our team. I was rooting my balls off for that guy before, but he was painful to watch taking up a slot in the lineup and his CS was dogshit. I'd give him 1/8 of games behind O'Hoppe, Wallach, then Thaiss to see if he still had it, if we still play like this next year, which is likely with Ohtani gone and Rendon in the lineup.

Makes absent minded mistakes from time to time, but it's not for lack of trying. He threw me a ball in the stands at Camden Yards 2 months ago, so he won my heart.

Not going to happen. I love my Angels but Tampa Bay knows how to score runs, and they score them early, and they'll score them late if need be. They are perhaps my favorite team to watch and listen to behind the Angels, I've been rooting for them for about a decade due to their shitty stadium and ridiculously good energy around fundamental baseball and making something out of nothing. Yandy Diaz is a stud. Randy Arozerena is my homie. Fairbanks always looks like he's about to be hit by an oncoming locomotive, but he is one hell of a closer. On par for the season, the Halos will win 1 if they're lucky and the Rays have a a day where the pitching and hitting is off, but I would not expect it to be easy.

^This season is down the shitter, let the kid have his breakout in 2024 and get a trophy while he's at it. It's not going to take anything away from the team this year, and it will only help next year.

Their approach at the plate is the same dogshit we've seen for the past decade of losing: -They watch strikes then swing at balls. -Their swings are defensive, not aggressive. -They guess at pitches, which is the absolute worst thing to do in a batters box. -The basic fundamentals of baseball throughout the Angels baseball organization is garbage
