  1. Guys are hitting the ball hard today, no question about it.
  2. Glad Berkman got out on the first pitch that way the effing commentators couldn't kiss his ass for more than 10 seconds.
  3. LOL that ball was hit a mile and the commentators barely raised thwir voices. What a bunch of pricks.
  4. Ehh, that's a great scapegoat Lifetime. And it works. But lets face it, the way that entire at-bat went, he just wanted to get the hell out of that batters box as soon as possible.
  5. Good thing he's got his priorities straight. I'm starting to feel this way about the rest of the team, atleast with how they've played the past year or so. They punch in, show up, then can't f***ing wait to punch out.
  6. Way to stay positive Chuck. I too believe they're just waiting to find a groove, and once they do, it will be exciting to watch.
  7. ^Thanks for that, I found what I needed. Now I'm not making any excuses for the teams performance, but you do have to admit they've had a screwy schedule to start the season (including that whack day off after the season opener). BIG SURPRISE from the MLB Scheduling Squad, right? (all times are Pacific) April 1st: 1 pm April 2nd: Day off April 3rd: 4 pm April 4th: 9:30 am (then travel to Texas) April 5th: 8 am April 6th; 10 am April 7th: 3 pm I mean, they don't have TWO games with the same starting time during the first week of the season. That sucks! Finally starting on April 9th, they will have 4 games that start at 7pm at home. Again, I'm not making any excuses but I can tell you when you're dicking around with starting times like that it's gotta be tough to get comfortable and get into a groove with a daily routine.
  8. Is there any way to find an the Angels schedule with the game times from the games they've already played? I'm trying to figure out how many day games they've already played and can't find one...
  9. Nah, if Prince came here he'd suck too. Something about getting paid millions and putting on an Angel uni brings every player down from their previous Hercule-esque levels.
  10. Because this isn't last year? We have a lot more established players now that can play their positions and bat every day. Last year there were a lot of players Skip wanted to get in the lineup every couple days. The various lineup configurations really aren't necessary anymore.
  11. I wouldn't either, but Scioscia is going to stick with the current lineup for a majority of the season methinks. The fact is the guys that are there are being paid to perform, and they need to.
  12. It may be a sell out but that doesn't mean the stadium will be full.
  13. Why are our 3-4-5 guys shriveling into ginourmous pansies when they step up to the plate? It doesn't make any sense. Do they not want to win?
  14. Not sure why anyone would go to the stadium OR pay exorbitant prices for tickets after the way these guys have been playing.
  15. Glad I didn't miss this one. Another disgusting display by our 3-4-5 guys. Hamilton was shaking by the knees when that crowd boo'd him.
  16. I didn't laugh, but I think people these days overreact to stuff that isn't even that bad. I don't think the sign is that bad. Especially when there's shows like Teen Mom, or Kesha's Reality Show where she's drinking her own pee, and nobody gives a crap. So freaking ass backwards.
  17. Everyone freaking knows the pitcher batting is a waste of an out, it's fine if the NL wants to stick to it but making it a constant AL headache is downright ridiculous, and that's why interleague should have never been created to begin with. I've been against it since day 1. Who gives a crap who plays in the World Series if they've already seen eachother 8 times during the season...
  18. Jeez effing hell they've played two games and you're crucifying them. This season ain't a two game series it's a grind for six months. Come back in August when they're down by 10 and not contending for a playoff spot.
  19. He saved several balls in the dirt today thrown by our infield. He can't do it all the time.
