  1. The thing is that Average with RISP has been this way the past 2-3 seasons now. Nobody has done anything to address it.
  2. In less than 5 minutes: DP Romine K's looking. Bottom 3rd.
  3. Yeah you'd think they'd do everything they could to exceed the already low expectations. Quite the opposite.
  4. Must be nice to have a guy who can come up with the bases loaded and just have a nice easy swing to get those runs in.
  5. Dozier is batting .147 and you walk him. It just, defies logic in every sense of the word.
  6. BAH HAHAHAH! Oh man, I can't even find words to describe this crap.
  7. Unlike other teams, our batters don't battle for something to hit. Our guys literally hate walking, and want to swing the bat. Opposing pitchers know this, so they know they don't have to throw strikes. It's why we get quick innings with wussy pop ups and weak ground balls that don't leave the infield.
  8. It's true, most of our pitching doesn't have an "out" pitch, so you just see opposing guys battling till they get something to hit. Our batters don't battle for something to hit. At all. Our guys are free swingers and want to swing. Opposing pitchers know this, so they know they don't have to throw strikes. Our guys maybe watch first pitch strikes right down the pipe, then commit to swinging, and they swing at balls the rest of the at-bat, and therefore we get pussy ground balls and wienie pop ups for quick outs. It's ridiculous.
  9. Its pretty obvious that if our starters get hurt, we're screwed. We have no legitimate back up players. This Jimenez and Romine guy just don't impress me at all.
  10. Why why WHY do i torture myself with this crap.
  11. It's weird because our plan of attack on offense seems so predictable all the time. Other teams actually change things up over the course of the game, or a series, to improve their offense as it goes on. We just do the same bulls**t over and over again.
  12. ^Our Angels just love to keep their bats on their shoulders when they step in the box, watching those fastballs down the pipe for first pitch strikes. It's like they say in little league "never swing at the first pitch." Not to mention, they're so pretty. Ready to throw junk after the best pitch of the at-bat? We're ready to hack!
  13. Why would Dustin Pedroia be doing that with another man?
  14. Well one things for sure, the Angels sure do know how to pick 'em.
  15. Howie Kendrick quickly extinguishing the possibility of a run scoring inning. He should patent that DP swing.
  16. I wouldn't say it's horrific. It's just not very good.
  17. One of my buddies is from Minnesota and he said he's never understood why they didn't put a roof over the new stadium. They didn't have an unlimited budget, but they did a LOT of renovations around the stadium as well (train station, etc.).
  18. I prefer bringing in my Togo's pastrami.
  19. Keep in mind CJ was kinda in the know about the Pujols deal, so I think the idea of a championship caliber ballclub might have also persuaded him to come to the Angels. Hamilton on the other hand looks like he flat out doesn't give a s***.
  20. The thing is, Scioscia shouldn't have to be the only one to rip Hamilton a new one. The players on the team need to step up and tell the guy enough is enough, and that he needs to get his freakin' head out of his ass. Embarrassing.
  21. Stopped reading after "miss Hunter's leadership..." Yeah, that sure was some brilliant leadership the past 2 seasons: helping us make boneheaded outs on the basepaths while not making the playoffs...
  22. AO back in mid-season form, that's for sure.
  23. What do we go in with? Cause whatever it is it ain't working.
  24. LOL like you even know this. It might not have screwed up his swing, but it dicked with his head and approach at the plate.
