I would like to see Skip take more risks. The safe and simple approach is played. For example, rotate the closing roles to guys like Grilli and Smith. Let them both have a shot, and compete for the role. Nothing like a little competition for the closer position to get guys to push harder.

Awesome to be watching these guys come together. Super fun season so far, and these guys are finally playing exciting baseball again. Imagine how much we'd be kicking ass if Pujols was hitting .300 and Freese could get over .250, man we'd be raking! Not trying to bring down the good vibes at all, I just think we'd be unstoppable, and I'd love to see it happen.

There are girls I know that literally have panic attacks when their phone is lost, when they don't have something to look down at or socialize with, it's like an internal twitch they've developed because they've become accustom to having the stupid screens at their beck and call all the time. IMO it's terrible that they're THAT obsessed and I can't imagine being like that. Who knows what this is doing to their real world social skills and ability to just look up at the world and enjoy the things going on around them and appreciate it. The phone obsessive culture is not going away anytime soon, I get that, it's something we're just going to have to deal with. But it should not take priority over the people that are ACTUALLY AROUND YOU. Things that are going on RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. I wonder if over time (30-40 years) people are ever going to just get fed up with them and put the damn things away.
