  1. Ugh is there a way to filter out any thread or update with the name Josh Hamilton in it? Stop with the updates, just announce his name once his boo boo is all better and he's about to step in the box.
  2. Know what's ironic? To me, In N Out soda has always tasted like shit. Probably the only thing from In N Out that's worse than their fries. Clean lines or not (I've never gotten sick from soda at a fast food place) McDonald's really does have some of the best tasting fountain drinks, period. Which is why I hate those freakin' freestyle machines: the soda from those things is absolutely terrible. Enjoy and In N Out burger every so often though. Piping ass hot Del Taco crinkle cut fries are pretty freakin' delicious though, I will admit.
  3. Probably looking for a rhyme so he could sell it by the gram.
  4. We see him walk out to the mound to take up time so the relievers can warm up. Anytime Butcher walks out to the mound, seems like nothing good is going to happen. I'd rather he not go out there at all. Just send Scioscia to replace them. Butcher means nothing to me.
  5. If someone woulda told me 10 years ago you could be a Major Leaguer making millions looking like that, I think I woulda tried a lot harder.
  6. Yeah I would say it's one of the only series I practically binged on. I couldn't stop watching more, and went through the entire series on Netflix in about a month. And this was after the series was over, so there was no waiting between. I will probably check out Better Call Saul when the series is over as well.
  7. To me Wendy's burgers are actually pretty good for a change. I'll stop and get a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, add pickles, and it's pretty much all I need. Their 1/4 pound ones are pretty good quality as well if you're looking for a bigger meal, and if you ask for hot fresh fries they'll do it for you. I have never had a Habit burger I disliked, and I love that they have onion rings. Always hot and fresh. I suppose maybe if you take it home, it'll cool down, but the same could be said for In N Out. Haven't been to 5 Guys in a while, will have to stop by there sometime soon. But I do remember it just being way too expensive. If I'm gonna spend that much I think I'd rather go for Fatburger. Their burgers and fat fries are SOOOO good. Some of the best tasting burger meat I've ever had. And I love the relish they put on the burgers. *drool*
  8. Man that must be a rush to just keep jacking peoples cars and speed through traffic running from the cops.
  9. Already pre-ordered one. Does that make me half black?
  10. My gawd she looks like a dead corpse. Really too bad...it's gotta be meth or anorexia.
  11. Dont know about anyone else, but I for one am shocked that HaloMagic sides with the person acting like classless prick. I have no problem with everyone saying what they want to say...but don't be all up in arms when other people who can say what they want to say consider your usage of words similar to that of a gutless moron with sand in their vagina.
  12. If there's one thing I've learned on message boards, when everyone says that you're acting like a classless prick, there's probably a good chance that you are. What fascinates me is how in his mind it's somewhat justified because of the insistence to defend the honor of 2 women he doesn't even know.
  13. Of course the Angels medical staff is partly to blame. IMO they aren't the greatest MLB "staff" based on our track record. But if the guy woulda spoke sooner up this shit would have been taken care of by now. Not that it matters. I see this as the last straw. Not only is the guy going to miss an important part of the season, but it's just another thing for him to blame when he continues to suck. Unless of course, he's playing at Angel Stadium. Time to go away Josh. You've just eliminated the last few fans that wanted you around.
  14. Nice to see Calhoun and Kendrick in the top 100. They deserve it. Mind blowing how fast Pujols has fallen, I remember a couple years ago he was number one for a couple seasons in a row I believe.
  15. My gawd look at this Steinbrenner nonsense on that page: Aug 3, 1982 - The White Sox sweep a doubleheader at Yankee Stadium 1-0 and 14-2‚ prompting Yankees owner George Steinbrenner to fire manager Gene Michael and replace him with pitching coach Clyde King. King is the Yankees' 3rd manager this season. Apr 25, 1982 - Just 14 games into the season‚ George Steinbrenner fires manager Bob Lemon and replaces him with Gene Michael‚ the man Lemon had replaced last September. Dec 9, 1981 - One day after announcing that manager Bob Lemon will return in 1982‚ the Yankees announce that former manager Gene Michael‚ whom Lemon replaced on September 6th‚ will return as manager for the 1983 season. They won't wait that long. Sep 6, 1981 - Despite having won the first-half pennant‚ Yankee manager Gene Michael is replaced by Bob Lemon‚ who managed the club in 1978-79. The Yankees are only 2 games above .500 in the 2nd half of the season. Nov 21, 1980 - Ending weeks of speculation that he would be fired despite having led the Yankees to 103 wins last season‚ manager Dick Howser "resigns" and is immediately replaced by GM Gene Michael. If George extended me a job offer, I'd say F*** THAT, I'm definitely don't want to be a part of that circus act.
  16. Neither is making assumptions about peoples bank accounts and spending habits.
  17. Yeah! And hey, screw those people who buy a house and then get laid off and can't pay their mortgage! Buncha can't hack-its! When you only have a couple bucks in your pocket, spending $400,000 on property for you to live in and raise a family is pretty stoopid too! http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Mike-Trout-Authentic-Anahime-LA-Angels-Alternate-Red-Game-Jersey-52-2XL-/301222771795?pt=US_Baseball_Fan_Shop&hash=item462246bc53 $265 on eBay for a 52 Authentic, could probably list and sell for $175. Only thing is the eBay fees after you sell can really stink. Maybe try Craigslist?
  18. Stradling, just admit you love the smell of my arsehole, dontcha? DONTCHA? I loved the halftime show with the numerous entertaining visuals including talking sharks, not to mention Kravitz and Missy killing it. And I am absolutely capable of being indifferent, numbnutz. But Katy Perry, as always, can still eat sh*t and die!
  19. Sorry to hear the bad news MVTrout. Words of encouragement: You are now blessed with an opportunity to get a better job with better pay because you have experience. Keep that in mind and stay positive. I would also encourage aiming high for a job you might not be qualified for, but want really bad, because you never know what can happen. Believe it or not I learned a lot from some awesome people on AngelsWin, most specifically that interviewers LOVE candidates who are excited for the opportunity to be a part of their company -- even if they're not qualified! That helped me A LOT. And I'm not gonna lie, the application and interview process can be grueling, brutal, sometimes almost demeaning, but the possibilities for a person like you with experience in that field are IMO endless. Advice: I don't know the last time you made a resume, but would highly recommend hiring a resume creator for help if you are getting frustrated at the lack of bites after the first month of searching. I used doostang.com, and it cost me $150, but it made an INVALUABLE difference on my application responses, and was well worth it in the end. Take it from a guy who relentlessly searched for 8+ months. Except I had NO experience and only a Bachelors degree in Finance. Here's a thread of my frustration with one company back in September when I thought I landed the job: http://www.angelswin-forum.com/forums/topic/16358-attn-hiringinterviewers-on-angelswin-is-a-follow-up-thank-you-call-appropriate/#entry454994 I didn't update that thread once I finally landed a job, but am going to now. In the end the hard work makes it worth it. Through persistence and a lot of soul searching, I found a great job. I feel accomplished. I'm glad even through all my self doubt and ego beating I didn't give up, I'm glad my education made it all worth-while. My confidence is higher than ever because I accomplished a feat that at times I felt impossible. And you can too. I HATED when people told me this through the process over the last year, but things can happen for a reason. And it really all depends on your attitude, and how you react to things that happen in life. That's what defines you as a person. My pops always says: NEVER. GIVE. UP. Sometimes stuff like this is a blessing in disguise, and maybe this will be an opportunity for you to make more money, and enjoy your job even more. It's a damn shame I'm a 48, because I would give you $200 straight up for the jersey right now, especially because it's a red one. And those red uni's are f***in' bad ass. But most of all, best of luck. Keep your chin up. And don't look at this as a kick in the crotch, but an opportunity for better things to come. I mean it!
  20. TERRIBLE play call. What's worse is anyone on the field who OK'd that call from the Offensive Coordinater after they heard it in the headphones. Can't believe Carroll gave it the OK. Can't believe the Seahawks quarterback gave it the OK. If I were the quarterback and heard that, I would have had a huge WTF moment and asked if I was the only one who wasn't out of their goddamn mind. When you are that close to the endzone, and have 3 chances to hand Lynch the football, there is NO reason for the football to ever leave the hand of a Seahawk. Great game, though. One of the most exciting one's I've seen. Also, Katy Perry can eat sh** and die as far as I'm concerned.
