Kurt Suzuki is terrible at framing pitches. I've seen pitches that are strikes that he doesn't frame then are called balls. You think after 15 years...

I know people like him, I've seen him be clutch when we need him. But his standard at bats he waits until he gets a strike and usually wathces a motsa ball down the pipe, then he starts hacking at stuff and the results just aren't very good.

I have to be honest, I was glad when we signed him. He seemed like one of those consistent, can't really go wrong contracts. But it seems like the contract bug has stung us again, he gets that paper, and maybe he's always had that Garret Anderson complex, but like Upton he seems like he just doesn't give a shit. Batting .242 with 3 homers, yeesh. When he comes up, I don't even expect him to do anything anymore. He's starting to feel like Pujols of 5 years ago.

They don't swing at pitches to hit, they watch the pitches to hit, and then they swing at the pitches they shouldn't after they're in the hole. There's nothing to argue here, I see it every time I turn on a Halo game and it's horseshit.

i heard something the other day the Angels haven't swept a series since 2019 or some junk like that. Maybe it was an away series, I don't remember, but it was a pretty terrible stat nonetheless.

All these assholes do is watch strikes, then swing at pitches out of the zone. For some reason they think they're "working the count" and it's going to go in their favor, but all they do is watch the best pitches of the at bat, then swing at the junk once their in the hole. I don't know why the mentality isn't just "look for a pitch to hit and swing at it."

Yes. They've been saying regardless of how crappy his offense is, his defense makes up for it since day 1. Same with Pujols. No matter how crappy he's been with us, he's a hall of famer and all they do is mention his career numbers.
