  1. Marsh is so afraid to keep strike out swinging he'd rather just stand there and watch strike 3 instead.
  2. Ever since he broke Kershaws perfect game I had a whole new respect for Rengifo. Always looked like a guy who could slug the ball, but I feel like that was his breakout and has really solidified his current stride this past month. Not bad in the field, has decent speed, scrappy kinda ballplayer. But as usual with these guys it's kinda hard to know, especially after Wards fall back to earth.
  3. He had a good day with the bat today. Glad to see him do it. I want him to be good and I know he can be better! LIGHT IT UP!
  4. What a nice catch in center! I wonder if Adell would have made that play?
  5. Seriously. I have to say the guys actually *LOOK* like they want to win today, and it's been nice to see, the game is SO much more enjoyable with quality pitching and some quality clutch hits to support them.
  6. I think you posted in the wrong thread. Either way that lob that went 20 feet over the first basemans head into right field was hilarious.
  7. lol that lob by the KC pitcher was like 25 feet over the first basemans head... and they finally pitch to Ohtani for an immediate RBI base hit! 4-0 Angels bottom 7!!!
  8. 2-3 today, glad to see it. He seems like he should be able to put that bat together, I really don't think what we've seen is the batter he really is. With his speed and defense it would be great if he could lower those strikeouts and hit .270 for us.
  9. I always loved him for that. If I recall he smiled a couple times after winning the ring and was going around the ballpark.
  10. Someone in the Angels organization pissed off the baseball gods some time after 2002 and why do I have a feeling his name rhymes with fartie.
  11. lol the Royal right fielder just faced it directly into the right field chain link fence. Marsh: a base hit with a RISP, 2-0 Halos in the 5th.
  12. He's going to get shut down for the year, they're just dragging their feet in waiting to announce it. From the article in the other thread, doesn't sound like surgery will even be a permanent solution.
  13. Stuff like this just keeps happening to Angel players, and I know it happened before the WS win with Mo Vaughn, but it really just seems like after the Morales injury in 2010 it's elevated to an unprecedented level no matter what the Angels do. Good prospects, big signings, the no-good-luck freak accidents and injuries continuously plague this team. If I was Ohtani or really any ballplayer right now I'd stay as far away from the Angels as possible.
  14. "Asked if Trout could miss the rest of the season, Frostad said: “We hope not. I don’t think we’re at a point where we’re going to make that decision. "" Translation: Out for the season. "“He’s been a great teammate,” Angels manager Phil Nevin said."" Yeah, that's all fine and good but that's not what he's being paid for and that's not going to help us win ballgames. "“Long-term, we do have to look at this as something that he has to manage not just through the rest of this season, but also through the rest of his career, probably,” Frostad said." Bad news on top of bad news. This is not looking good for Trout. I wonder if this is something that lingered and he just played through or if it just suddenly popped up?
