  1. I know many people want him fired, but I just can't see it happening. What I can see happening is Butcher getting fired, and Ebel, Piccollo, and Eppard given the option of going back to AAA or released. And while they don't have MLB or even minor coaching experience, offering the interim jobs to Langston, Percival, and Salmon. What this team needs right now is goodwill, and hiring former Angels like them would bring in a lot of goodwill. And if it works great, if it doesn't, then this offseason Dipoto and Scioscia sitting down and creating a MLB coaching staff. Not a coaching staff made up of minor league coaches who have barely even played in the MLB. In other words, might not be able to relate to the MLB mentality.
  2. Might be wrong to say. But remember in Spring Training, when he came into camp all trim and light. He attributed it to his new "diet". MLB starts blood testing for HGH this season. And now the disaster of a start. Hopefully he gets in a groove. But if he doesn't, will make you wonder.
  3. Does your new dad live on the beach? Keep them coming. It's like I'm reading the most interesting guy in the world's diary while watching him drink a dos equis.
  4. Got Duff Stadium. Thanks to everyone that helped. Monkey, dropped off what I had in your town.
  5. I define him as a hard worker, that realized the issues he had last season, and worked really hard in the offseason and spring to correct that. And so far, his work has shown what we all hoped.
  6. If it happens. There may be HOF worthy threads to come out of it.
  7. Would have thought you could have gotten better odds at the moment.
  8. Sad thing is, for $750, a $30 surcharge sounds reasonable. For a $5 ticket, a $10 surcharge doesn't though.
  9. One thing I noticed about this last start. Beginning of the game, he had lots of controlled movement in his pitches. But towards the end, the movement wasn't there. They did show one instance, early in the game, when they showed a slow motion of his pitch. Grip was firm, but it looked almost like a screwball throwing motion. A screwball is against a normal throwing motion, and must be taxing on the arm. I'm thinking that's why later in the game, the movement just isn't there. The strain just gets to be you can't do it as effectively as early in the game. Thus the wildness/lack of movement. Just a theory. But he seems best first, and sometimes second time through the lineup. But after that, seems so hittable after that.
  10. About 225 short of Duff Stadium. And fearful it ends tomorrow. Can anyone help a brother out? Got about 90 I can drop off also.

  12. Even on the base, pitcher is scared of Trumbomb.
  13. It was the Guinness. My advice to you is to continue to drink. Eventually he'll hit.
  14. Looks like it's going to be up to TNT to win this game.
  15. http://movies.yahoo.com/news/iron-man-3-21-5m-china-breaks-opening-150505526.html $175.3 million domestic weekend opening $504.8 million international 12 day. $680.1 million globally.
  16. There were so much to be positive about in this game. And now. I want to take a nap.
