  1. I'm confused. I thought Conger couldn't do that?

  3. Well, yesterday was Flashback Fridays. Scioscia was just trying to join the fun. In the end though, we won, so it'll just be another Ebar punchline.
  4. Wonder if they could make it like how Ceasars had their arena for a while. I think it was like a canopy roof, but not really enclosed. Think they built it when they had those outdoor hockey games in Vegas.
  5. Yeah, that's the big question. Will there be a retractable roof? Because even if they move off the aluminum benches, it'll still be Africa hot in the summer.
  6. Josh Hamilton part deux? Get the $125 million ready.
  7. And another article. http://articles.latimes.com/2007/nov/20/sports/sp-angels20
  8. http://articles.latimes.com/2007/nov/14/sports/sp-cabrera14 Better article, since it was in 2007 when written and not afterwards. LOL And....
  9. Ok, were most of these in the Political forum? Don't recognize many of them, and I troll a lot.
  10. A bit more complicated. But yeah, Wood was part of the trade. It would have actually been a real good trade for the Marlins. And for us. Instead, Marlins got nothing. http://www.fishstripes.com/2013/4/23/4255952/miami-marlins-miguel-cabrera-2007-trade-detroit-tigers-los-angeles-angels-howie-kendrick But, if I remember correctly, Mathis was also going to be included. But as you said, the hangup was on Wood. Marlins wanted both Wood and Kendrick, and the Angels would only include one of them.
  11. Fun little read on if the Angels traded for Cabrera. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1615197-how-a-miguel-cabrera-to-the-angels-trade-would-have-changed-the-course-of-mlb
  12. Halfway there. And surprising only from the Home Run pitcher.
  13. 4 more to go to the break even.
  14. No kidding. With hate in the title. You probably get put on the FBI watchlist by going to it.
  15. In a contract year. Coincidence? Someone is going to see this years numbers, ignore his previous numbers, and sign him to a big deal. And probably regret it. Although not as epic-ly as the Blanton signing.
  16. It's good for smoothing rocks. Don't know how that translates to the internet though.
  17. Which is why Errors and many times lack of errors are more and more of a joke stat. Especially in the outfield.
  18. That works well doesn't it? To call out a player that has $72 million left on his contract?
  19. Will see it in theaters. Rock, cars, blowing things up, throw in a tank. This is going to be a mindless action comedy weekend. This will hold me over till Man of Steel, which preorders went on sale yesterday.
  20. Theater. Not expecting much from it. But hey, as long as it makes me laugh. Plus the comedy they do in it, does make me laugh. Like, is this a magic trick?
  21. But Longoria was given that contract I believe before he saw a pitch in the MLB.
