  1. Yeah. That is how you pick up your pitcher.
  2. Remember when people said that Callaspo was good at thirdbase? Machado is good at thirdbase. Callaspo is just average, there.

  4. I'd watch Trumbo again in the HR derby. He was fun to watch.
  5. He should have just said, I thought she was dead. He'd be look at by society in a better light.
  6. Yup. There is no guarantee that Trout will be here past year 6. And with how we have been burnt with big money long term contracts, there even may be a hesitancy to offer it.
  7. If you said bringing back Sir Don Bradman, he might have understood.
  8. That would probably make a pretty cool home theater. No outside light or sound.
  9. That's all good and all. But did you get a receipt for your donut?
  10. To put it in a basic stat calculation. Right now, the Angels are at a -23 run differential. If Pujols and Hamilton had as many RBI's as Trumbo, in which Trumbo has 44 RBI's and is on pace for 111 RBI's. Pujols would be +7, and when he plays a whole season he's around 105-120 RBI's. Hamilton would be a +24. Yes, Hamilton only has 20 RBI's, when career wise, when healthy he's a 100+ RBI guy. 31 more runs would put us at a +8. Currently, only KC (+5, 3 games under .500) and Cleveland (+2, 3 games under .500) have losing records with a + run differential. Baltimore and PIttsburgh are next lowest at +14, and they are 8 and 11 games over .500. We may not be on top. But at least we can say we are in the chase.
  11. Head and Shoulders is probably regretting having these flakes represent them.
  12. Yup, we need these two to perform. To put it all in perspective at how the Angels are all in right now. 2013, our payroll is at $137 million with the current group of people. In 2014, our payroll, while losing Vargas and Downs, so a starter and reliever. Our salary is already committed at $144 million. And this does not even take into account significant raises that Bourjos, Trumbo, and Frieri will be getting in their first year or arbitration. In 2015, our payroll is at $129 million with Trout hitting arb for the first year. 2016, our payroll is at $120 million. These number are if we make zero moves! All in.
  13. Ah ok. That makes more sense then. Just usually seems to be the kiss of death if studios don't put out screenings for reviewers to see.
  14. that's the odd thing about Burnett. Through 6 seasons, he has been rock steady with 56+ innings a season. Moment he puts an Angels uniform on, he gets injured.
  15. Davis was pretty non chalant about that. Oh goody. First pitch swinging to end the game.
  16. Daren O'day. Is this where he ended up.
  17. Cano is a free agent after this season. I wouldn't do the trade, but Howie would rake there, and he has a relatively small contract. Yanks would probably be very interested. I can see Cano signing with someone else in the offseason and doing a Soriano on whatever team he goes to. Please please please don't let it be the Angels.
  18. Wait, when did he come back to the league?
  19. Yeah, I was going to say. Error, check. Our catcher that can't throw out a runner even on a pitchout in perfect weather with a slight tailwind and the runner stumbling so lets blame the rain, check. It's like people were watching the rain fall, instead of the game. Game was over the moment Josh went ole on the ball.
