    So so far, his injuries have been. Trying to beat out a hit, on a crappy rainy OT game. Aggressively sliding into second, breaking up a double play that eventually led to two runs scoring. And HBP. Bourjos is becoming the new Erstad.

    It makes sense in a weird way. Trumbo didn't have a day off till a few days ago. Trout I believe hasn't had a day off yet. Not that a 22 year old needs a day off. But it's probably to rest him for the playoff push.

    It's just nuts how he's hitting. Will be interesting to see if he continues it all season, because there is a big difference between 22 games and 162 games. And if he does, Doggie fans will be packing the stadium next year to see if he is the real deal.

    Did notice today that Hamilton is chewing again. At least that is what it looked like he spit out during a close up during one of his at bats. If it wasn't chew, he should go see a doctor immediately, because it was nasty looking.

    In a way, I would like to give Kendrick a shot at the 2 spot if Trout was third. It would mean hopefully that Kendrick sees more fastballs, that he handles very well. And I think he would handle the contact play well with Pete on base.

    IMO, I think in the long run, he will eventually be batting 3rd. He just has too much power for the 1-2 spots. Especially later in his career when he loses a step. Hopefully he develops into a Bonds type player, except for the Roids and the losing.

    It's not about how fast the fastball is. It's about where it's pitched, and where the batters are expecting it.

    I have no problem with the trade. Not hanson's fault that his brother died. Before that happened, he was pretty consistent with a 3.86 ERA and 1 bad starts (against Houston, lol). And I also think people forgot how erratic Waldo was for us. Then again, he goes to Atlanta and gets good, and Hanson goes from a good pitcher to an average pitcher. Pitching coach anyone?
