  1. Is he a free agent, or a posting like situation? If he's a free agent, then $30-50 doesn't sound bad. If this is the right guy, http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=yoon--000suk They don't have much information on him. But in his 22 and 23 year old seasons, not too bad in IP. Looking at that video, his pitches seem a bit flat and in the zone. The last batter or two he was down in the zone. Guess it'll be up to the scouts.
  2. So who won. And how many over par were they? And yes, I know it was a scramble.
  3. There is usually plenty. But if you want to bring more, it never hurts. Just make sure if you do bring perishable food, to bring some cooler to put it in, in case there are leftovers.
  4. Once people realize that they are overpaying for sports stations, it will change. Of course it would depend on the companies finally entering into the 21st century and not relying on 20th century business. Notice how the company with no sports is the first to realize that there is a whole new world out there.
  5. Team/group photo's between the first and second game?
  6. Or Anaheim. Rock band KISS brings Arena Football back to Southland with LA KISS
  7. Drink in the parking lot and enjoy the game?
  8. Have fun out there boys. Remember this one rule of golf. The most important person out there is the cart girl. Treat her well, and you will forget that shank.
  9. IMO, you don't trade him till you sign Trout long term. Same with most of the others that are mentioned as trade bait also. Losing Trout, and trading away other parts can hurt this team for quite a long time.
  10. He could always go into singing. And look on the bright side, if he loses a nut, he could get on roids and prolong his career another few years.
  11. My thoughts were you have a set number of challenges you can do a year. Say 16. 10% of the games. You can use your 16 at any time. If you win your challenge, you keep it. If you lose, you have it deducted. Once you are out, no more challenges, for the rest of the year, and playoffs. This will make challenges valuable, and give everyone an even amount. And it will prevent abuse of it.
  12. Is it just me? Or does Scioscia use the pen in a blowout game like it's a close game, and in a close game like a blowout game? IE constant changes looking at matchups in a blowoout game, and the old leave a pitcher in too long in a close game.
  13. Although I don't agree with this This could bring the game to a crawl. And also be used as a tool to slow momentum. Also, how are they going to make it work. 3 minutes for just fair or foul and homers. Now you add a bunch of other stuff. Plus you put in place the discussion of whether to review after the manager comes strolling out. Could be 5 minutes + before the next play.
  14. Problem is, paying a 5th umpire. But also having a setup in every stadium so that he can review it. It's easier to have one location with the most up to date equipment determining the call. And when you think about it. There is a difference, between a guy 500 feet, looking at replays making a call, and a guy 3000 miles away, looking at replays making a call. I would actually think the guy 3000 miles away would be a better alternative. Because if it's a 5th umpire, then that umpire may be on the field the next day making a make up call. Also, a 5th umpire would mean you are contradicting your fellow umpire. We know how that's one of those stupid unwritten rules.
  15. Even routine plays are an adventure with this team.
  16. Well, he wasn't really running. Just circling at a slow trot.
  17. Come on CJ, go out in a ball of glory. Drill him.
  18. Nice play by Nelson. Soriano has lost quite a few steps. Wasn't he a speedster at one time?
