  1. Burnett is the key. If he could come back healthy, it changes the makeup of the Bullpen completely. I thought he was the biggest loss to the Pen this season.
  2. I like how my Krustyland is coming more than my Springfield. It's just rows and rows of houses for Springfield. According to Lisa, Oct 1st is when the Halloween event starts.
  3. Dear Mike Trout. See what Philly will do to you.
  4. Anyone still play? Looks like the Halloween update hit.
  5. Of course he's a baby, he's drinking Bud Light.
  6. Because he's fat. Duh. But you look at all the greats modern hitters, they were able to steal, but then decrease that and keep their hitting up. Bonds, Gwynn, Afraud, etc. Might also be a durability issue. Going all out, sliding into second. Then having to go back because of a foul, over a course of a year, and even a career, is very wearing on the body.
  7. They hate Taiwanese and Catholics also it seems.
  8. Bees just making a hive where there is no one around.
  9. Found this link that was posted mid 2013. They list the top 5 pitchers in Japan that might be posted. http://www.oneworldsports.com/stories/japanese-pitchers-most-likely-join-mlb
  10. Pedro Guerrero. 33 pounds of coke, and an IQ of not knowing what he was doing.
  11. Don't you mean Cory's GF's started shaving. He feels very old?
  12. LOL at you people's pollyana runs scored numbers. 10 games left. We are at 697 Runs scored.
  13. And on the flip side. The Angels pitchers, who gave up homers that averaged the longest distance. #3, clocking in with 29 dingers, at an average distance per dinger of 393.1 feet. Joe Blanton And he's towards the bottom third of the rankings. #2, win an impressive 23 dingers, at an average distance per dinger of 404.2 feet. Jerome Williams. #1, with a decreasing arm strength at 17 dingers, at an average distance per dinger of 405 feet. Jered Weaver.
  14. Senator John McCain calls the Dodgers ‘overpaid, immature, arrogant, spoiled brats’ after pool celebration
  15. I remember as a kid, I used to sit in the front seat. Sometimes on the special built in booster chair in the middle.
  16. Hiroshi Yamauchi dies at 85; chief of Nintendo in the gaming world, he built an empire whose games everyone knows. But for the MLB, he kept the Mariners from leaving for Florida, and staying in Seattle.
  17. Interesting who the third is. Although I think there should be a qualifier of min 17 HR's if you are looking at the same chart I am.
  18. Found this article. http://www.foxnews.com/story/2005/02/25/disney-sells-mighty-ducks-hockey-team/ With a very interesting section. I did not know that.
  19. Ducks owner Samueli committed to a state-of-the-art Honda Center
  20. If the overhaul happens this offseason, I really don't think Tanaka will be posted. I have a feeling the rules may be agreed upon this offseason, but they won't take effect until next season. And because of it, you may see a large amount of players posted this offseason, so that teams can maximize their dolla...yen. Hopefully the Angels aren't tunnel visioning their scouting on Tanaka and looking at other pitchers and relievers.
