  1. If the thieves are using the POS system. Makes me wonder how many other companies were also compromised. There has to be more than just target using that particular POS system.

So thoughts of getting him for cheap are out the window.
  3. Instead of going on a honeymoon. Save the money for a down on a house.
  4. I'd go Felix. Signed till 2019/20, where he'd be 33.
  5. Updated Ibanez. Estimated $145 million opening day $166 million CBT
  6. 12/18/13 Singed Raul Ibanez to a 1 year deal
  7. O.C. Lamborghini dealership sells car for 91.4 bitcoins Good thing they used a broker and cashed in right away. lol
  8. Bitcoin price plunges as China clampdown escalates Wonder if he sold then, or held on to it?
  9. Don't know who else will pay him that anymore. Maybe 5/$100. But 7/$140+?
  10. Phillies are trying to shed salary. Because of that, they will probably want high end prospects in return.
  11. Tell Trout I make more then he does.
  12. "Wait, there's a machine to do this? I've been using my hands for weeks."
  13. Pfft. what's a mile? I'm sure it's no different than walking through Compton at 11 pm.
  14. Just some comments Hubs. I think you are underestimating the financial resources of a lot of teams. Remember this is the first year of the influx of $25 million from the national tv deal. Previous year was $25, now it's north of $50 million. As for specific teams. Padres. Remember, they are the one's that got Irabu. He just did them a favor and didn't want to sign there so was traded to the Yankees.
  15. That would add another $5.5 million to their CBT. Still under by a hair. Arod and/or a trade can make a big impact on that.
  16. Not sure. I don't keep track of their CBT like the Angels. Just a quick runthrough. Arod +$1.5 Wells -$6.6 Teix -$0.6 CC +$1.4 Soriana -$2 Not sure how Wells situation calculates out to. Since his CBT number is lower than what the Yanks get from us and the Jays. But they are at $172 million opening day payroll right now. They have a opening day vs CBT difference of -$6.3 million. Add in the $11 million all teams pay. So they are guessing at roughly at $177 million. So it'll all hinge on Arod, or them trading another player away.
  17. IMO, I don't think that's an overpay. $15 million a year for a starting pitcher is almost cheap now. Feldman got $10 million, Nolasco got $12 million, Colon got $10 million a year for 2 years at 41 years old. And then Johnson got $8 million and we are paying Blanton $7.5 million. It's a gamble, but for $3-5 million more than what these starting pitchers are making per year, there is a lot more upside to the gamble. Now if we are talking 6/$147 like what Greinke got, then that's an overpay.
  18. For the Yankees, the big wildcard is Arod. If his suspension gets upheld. Then the Yanks are free of his $27.5 million+ CBT hit for next season. Decision is expected in January, and with a 30 day window for a Tanaka signing, they might know in time to put a stupid bid in.
  19. Mariners might have the pieces. But Price already said no contract extension if he was traded there. So if I were the Mariners, the price dropped, which the Rays wouldn't do.
  20. Pitching. We need a starting pitcher first.
  21. I want it to be good. But it sure does seem like if it's a great film, they are trying way way too hard. They are pimping themselves out to anything and everything.
