  1. Other things to consider. I think back then, strike zone was from the chest to just below the knees. And spitballs and doctored balls were pretty common. Not sure how often they changed balls back then either. Just the quality of the balls back then would make a big difference. Heck, it made a big difference that one season when balls were wound so tight, that they were flying out of stadiums.
  2. Canadian coach comes to Russian skier's rescue after crash
  3. The list isn't long as to who's number the Angels retired. http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/ana/history/retired_numbers.jsp I was surprised with Fergosi. Carew and Ryan are HOF'ers. Autry is an obvious other choice. Reese I guess sentimental. For Salmon, I'd personally wait. Because I don't think he's done with his career with the Angels yet. He could be a coach or in the broadcast booth. If it's in the booth, then you could retire his number. But if his path takes him towards the field, then they should hold off till his legacy is completely over.
  4. You obviously don't know who Ruth, Williams, or Mantle are. Heck, Trout isn't even the best player of this era yet.
  5. Yeah, add me to the list of I thought she was dead a long time ago group. Sounds like she had a fulfilling full life.
  6. Some team like the Marlins will sign him as a publicity stunt to double their fan that bought a ticket.
  7. Nope. That's why he should have a *. And not a Bonds *. But the head as a ball was a nice touch.
  8. LOL. That was funny. I've never done a McDonalds or Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial.
  9. And in other news. 'SNL' alum Chris Kattan arrested on suspicion of DUI after crash Luckily no one was hurt in this one.
  10. I wouldn't have minded the Angels signing him for a minor league contract. I think according to the CBA, the least the Angels could have offered Hanson was $2.98 Million (80% of his 2013 salary of $3.725 million). So I get why they cut bait.
  11. And looks like So Cal was prepared. http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?id=9422829
  12. yeah, take a look at this chart nate. http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/reservoirs/RES http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cdecapp/resapp/getResGraphsMain.action What I also find odd about the chart. Look at Castaic and Pyramid. The two main one's for So Cal. Both are almost at capacity.
  13. There you have it Xboom. The mechanics you were going to were trying to rip you off. Shocking ain't it.

  15. I'll pass judgement after I learn if she was rich or poor. I don't want to use discriminatory practices against those that suffer from that terrible disease of Affluenza.
