  1. So you feed them it's bad? If you don't feed them it's bad?
  2. I just realized the most plausable explanation for the planes disappearance. It will be confirmed, when Oz shows up at Summer Fanfest in his new plane.
  3. Alex Rodriguez's refusal to pay lawyers latest in series of bad acts
  4. Remember that the Chinese satellite also found huge debris. So until there is absolute confirmation, it might as well be Amelia's plane.
  5. Didn't read or see anything. But would one of the new caps helped? Just curious.
  6. Hint. Once you swipe once, and you get edward scizzorhands. First sign indicator that there probably won't be any more useful pictures of a helicopter crash.
  7. See the moment a physicist learns his life's work on the Big Bang theory is valid, pops open Champagne Kind of cool, in a geeky kind of way. I also like the full disclosure at the end. Which is about where I'm at.
  8. So Lou is the official scorekeeper for the Summer Fanfest tourney?
  9. I think they are looking for more MLB ready players. They will probably go the old cheap route. Especially since they have a guy at AAA that is probably a year away from the bigs. And his numbers outside of AAA last year is pretty impressive. And he's only 21. http://www.baseballamerica.com/statistics/players/cards/39170
  10. That's a tough one. IMO, I think Aybar is on the downslope. Right now, I'm wondering if Romine might be the better defender. Aybar is probably a better hitter than Romine. But Aybar isn't on a level like a Drew. Aybar is IMO a pretty average hitting SS. Porcello IMO is what he is. A #4/5 type pitcher for the reasons I stated above. But considering our pitching options, that's what we need. Yeah, I'd probably do a Porcello/Aybar straight up trade. I'd hope Porcello can give up a low 4 ERA/1.3ish WHIP. That would be a solid #4/5 for us. Would let us ease in Skaggs. Would put a better defense behind the pitchers, which might help their numbers a bit. Free the spot for Romine to prove he belongs. And if not, we still have Green. So it's a position of depth. Salary wise, probably a wash.
  11. As far as Porcello goes. He looks to be an average 4/5 type pitcher. Might get to a 3, but considering last season was his best at a 1.28 WHIP and 4.32 ERA. And he's been in the league for 5 years, and never pitched more than 182 innings, and yet he has started in at least 27 games and for 3 seasons 31 games. I think his career 1.39 WHIP and 4.51 ERA is about what to expect. So a straight up Porcello for Aybar is probably a fair trade. Just not sure how well it will work out for both teams.
  12. Porcello has arb 2 (2014) and 3 (2015) left. Aybar is under contract till 2016. But you also have to consider that pitching is more valuable than fielding ATM if you consider them to be average players.
  13. NL East Notes: Rollins, Syndergaard, Braves, Carroll Interesting possibility. Of course the 10/5 will be a factor. But he has $11 million for 2014, and more than likely a vesting option for 2015 at $11 million. Could be a situation where the Tigers give up very little, as long as they take on the salary.
  14. That's my thoughts too. Unless they can trade for a SS that is not only good, but costs less than a first round pick in value. And I'm just not sure if any team will trade a SS at this point for a mid level prospect.
  15. Yeah, how the last 2 episodes will top the last one will be seen. If they do top it, wow.
