  1. LOL. Figgins. Did someone yell Beetlejuice, and he became distracted?
  2. FYI. Interesting thing about Trouts contract. The AAV for Pujols is $24 million. For Trout it's $24.08 million. At least from my calcs.
  3. This does bring up a good point. You have to remember that I believe that Lance Armstrong never tested positive. And Cycling's program is up there with the WADA. He was caught similar to Arod with circumstancial evidence. I wish that they addressed that in new rules.
  4. But, did Francona give him the game ball there? Screw making the MLB, gifts like that are worth more than rings.
  5. I'm going to miss the Power Plant Boobies.
  6. Coke will shine a penny. But I hear Mt Dew will turn it into a dime.
  7. They must have knew, because that's one heck of a huge mousetrap.
  8. To buy out 3 years of FA'cy. More of a certainty of 6 years vs 3 years.
  9. Chuck works for the government. lol. still 10 million is quite a bit.
  10. Someone missed the huge gameday/vent threads and the Lifetime vs the world threads. That alone is probably half the billion.
  11. It's only an issue depending on who goes down, and for how long. If Blanton goes down, and he did, depth is not an issue. If Weaver went down, then yeah, depth would be an issue.
  12. 6/$180??? LOL. Someone has no clue about 6 years of FA'cy vs 3 years of arbitration and free agency.
  13. Probably not. Both in years, and because Trouts first three years involve arbitration years.
  14. They have nothing to do on Sunday, but get the contract done.
  15. The most pathetic NHL answer on ‘Jeopardy!’ ever (Video)
  16. Report: Blues want to lock up Miller, but he might have eyes set on Ducks
  17. Taking a guess. But is #1 Mantle like either 501 feet or 601 feet at the polo grounds?
  18. Here is an angle as to why if student athletes get employee status, 90% of schools will cut sports, leaving only the mega schools with deep donor pockets left. If you are a student athlete, and you suffer a career injury, that's it. Your career is over. If you are an employee, and you suffer a career injury. Lawyers will have a field day and sue for lost wages, for a career.
  19. Syfy is foaming at the mouth. I don't think they have done a giant ant movie yet.
  20. If NW loses, I can see a lot of sports getting cut. Part of employees is financial. And financials would be to make money, or at least break even. It'll be great for football and basketball, since they are money makers. But for every other sport, it won't make financial sense to have those "employees"
