  1. Did someone say beer? Although $10 might be worth it just for the shade. I'll call the beer a bonus.
  2. Looks like Skaggs is out for Saturday. So looks like we get to watch Weaver. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20140617&content_id=80245468&notebook_id=80244258&vkey=notebook_ana&c_id=ana
  3. Spezza's No Trade List Hope our GM doesn't get into a bidding war. He could be a steal.
  4. Yeah, that was kind of weird how it happened. I thought Kloe would come through in the last second. But when it happened, I was thinking what the heck is going to happen now?
  5. As Count Customs would say. Just because you put $42k in restoration into it, it doesn't mean it's worth $42k.
  6. Someone should email them and say they would have been interested if it was a Bangle Kitten, since they are so rare, but since it's a Bengal, it's kind of common.
  7. Dave. I'm just curious. Since he does look like he used two types of bats, and in articles I've read it even says that he has 2 types of bats. Can you find out if the "Tony Gwynn Finish" is his "7 grains of pain" bat he used against soft tossers?
  8. Padres legend Tony Gwynn dead at 54 Good article by SD UT.
  9. Nice story about the Tony Gwynn Bat, I also did not know about it. Look up the Dan Patrick about Tony Gwynn video. It's heartbreaking, because you can see that Dan was fighting back the tears. I think it was in that segment, but one thing that Dan brought up was that when Tony was asked about PED's. He said on the record, about 40-50% of players used. Canseco might have brought the fight, but Tony probably brought legitimacy to the argument.
  10. Tony Gwynn was a ‘father figure’ for Stephen Strasburg Great story about the bond of Gwynn and Strasburg.
  11. Looking at baseball reference. This is just an absurdly amazing stat. Tony Gwynn's highest swing without making contact of any year was 8.1% in his last year. Next highest was a 6.3%. He was in the 4% to low 5% for most of his career. His career swing and miss was 5.0%. The major league average of swing and miss is 14.7%.
  12. ESPN tried really hard with Berman doing the Masters.
  13. http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/48557/tony-gwynn-the-man-could-hit
  14. Sad to hear. But he has been battling Cancer sku's for a long time. Probably the best pure hitter of our generation. In 20 MLB seasons. He never struck out more than 40 times a season. His BB/K ratio was 1.82. To put it in perspective, Cabrera is a career 0.66, Trout a 0.60, and Bonds a 1.66. And if it wasn't for the strike, he had a shot at .400 in 94 and ended with a .394 avg. Broke my heart, when in his last game, the stupid manager in a meaningless game, in front of a home crowd, benched him and only had him come in for a pinch hit late in the game.
  15. Depends on the partition. I know that I was able to use a USB on pc or mac. But when I formatted the USB to Mac, I couldn't use it on the PC. As Vegas said, plug the drive in, and see if the PC recognizes it. Also, if it's on itunes, you can redownload them right? or do they charge you per download?
  16. will bring napkins, garbage bags, and hello my name is stickers.
  17. pc, mac, or in real life. No idea on a mac. In real life, go see a doctor. But PC, there are a lot of free programs out there. Just google Best Root Kit Virus and it will come up with lots of options.
  18. Man, I was one of those that was worried about him. The main thing I was worried about was he used the high fastball a lot. Still don't think he was worth the amount that the Yanks paid, but it is paying off for them.
  19. Strive to be better tdawg. The bar has been set. I'm waiting for the Trout Youtube video.
  20. And if he knew the hokey religion, instead of strapping on the blaster, he might have gone unscathed. Okay, my nerdgasm is over. I'll go away now.
  21. Guess the Falcon won't be doing the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs.
  22. Surveillance room must have been entertained that night. Wonder how many visits he got.
  23. It was Pujols running. More like a span of 2 minutes. There comes a time when teams just say, you don't run on Ichiro or Vlad. But for the Angels, it's play aggressive, and if you get thrown out, it must have been luck, so lets keep running on Yoenis.
