  1. Step 5. Blame it on the Dog and/or Cat when the wife comes home and finds it.
  2. So it went from a Deep Freese to a Freese'r Burn.
  3. Dang. Heatley is only 33. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/ducks-sign-what-s-left-of-dany-heatley-for-1-year---1-million-221257589.html
  4. And AO, just because one of the contributors moved to Milwaulkee. It doesn't mean you will get the Ryan Braun reduced sentence. Arte likes the Yankees, so you get the full Arod max sentence.
  5. Oh, would it not be funny if AO took either Rally Munkee's or Lifetimes screen name for his comeback.
  6. That was not how I was expecting the story to end after seeing the picture of riot squad members.
  7. AO should just come back under the moniker of some poster we haven't seen on the board for a few years. Just to force the old poster out of retirement.
  8. Well, considering they were asking for $36 million and double the amount in pain in suffering. A $4.5 million judgement is probably a win for the Dodgers.
  9. Damn that HR hitting contest. Albert only put up a 1.084 OPS after the contest wrecked his swing.
  10. I remember this one time when they won 20 in a row.
  11. Depending on where the clippings end up, it could be more exciting than an Angels game. Wait, we are talking about grass right?
  12. Nice. I love that a 1/3 pound burger means 1/3 pound after it's cooked. Well, and the beer.
  13. I like Counter more than Habit. But I guess Counter is more of a sit down restaurant.
  14. Leave sneakyflute out of this. He has more balls than most of us.
  15. HOBBY LOBBY AIN’T A CHURCH, IT’S A FOR PROFIT BUSINESS.
  16. Yes, this lineup definitely is not worth that. Heck, if the Angels were in the World Series, and Berman was calling it, the TV would definitely be on mute.
  17. Is that where I left it? Now if I can only remember where I left the Polio vial.
  18. That sounded like Money Ball 2. I've always wondered, if Beane would as efficient if he had say a Angels payroll. IMO, I don't think he would be. Because part of his thinking is necessary with a limited and small budget. In either case, that guy has some smarts.
  19. Looks pretty blah to me. Stanton is the only player in the top 13 of HR's this season. With Bautista at #14. Lineup just isn't inspiring me enough to bother turning the game on.
  20. And here I thought this would be about the Final ballot and Richards.
  21. Boston does look like a team that is ready to sell. 10 games out. FA's next season: Lackey Peavy Drew Dempster Lester Pierzynski Gomes Ross Miller Badenhop Of the group. Lester does look tempting. And considering that next season they need a catcher. And looking at the depth chart, their outfielding skus to a point that Shuck might be a huge improvement. (And not saying it's going to be Lester for Shuck, just commenting on how bad their OF situation is) But for a rental, I can see a mutually beneficial trade between the two teams.
  22. Regarding Price. The Rays are 9.5 games out of first and 9.5 games out of a wild card. Price will have one more year of arbitration before becoming a Free Agent. If he doesn't sign a King Felix type extension, I can see them trading him before the trade deadline to get a max return. Do the Angels have enough to get him. Probably. But it probably would not be worth it on the Angels side, because it would include some of our good young talent, both in the MLB and high end prospects. Starting pitching will be a premium at the trade deadline this year, like all years. Look at what the A's gave up.
