  1. The residents of Charleston, WV were told their water was fine also. Until enough residents complained, and they found that a chemical storage facility was spewing a chemical into the water supply.
  2. Inspiration for Seahawks logo visits Seattle with assist from Patriots fan Pretty cool story about the origins of the Seahawks logo.
  3. http://youtu.be/dbGll8nt6Xs Think the most you can do is warn Kessler to not raise his elbow in that situation. But it looked like more of an avoid move, since he could have flat out decked him if he wanted to.
  4. Well, at least they won't be short of any drunks that need munchies at 4 am.
  5. Yeah, that's kind of exciting about the new scoreboard. 4x larger by the telecast.
  6. Which brings up the question. Is this a $200 million budgeted film, or a $25 million budgeted film? With the cast, if it's a $200 million summer tent pole type film, they will lose their asses off. If it's a $25 million film, comedies of that nature can be a bonanza making $100 million in the theaters and being a huge success for the backers. I have a feeling it's going to be in the $25-75 million production range, which directly targets into as Sully pointed out, the FB females, who will be dragging others, and the others will go because it's Ghostbusters. I hope I'm wrong, and it becomes a big success. But as I've seen in the past, if you make Caddyshack then make a new film with an entire new cast, no matter how talented they may be, you are playing with fire. The only way out, is to change the target audience. ***added thought Look at all the Melissa McCarthy films. Now, if it had a production cost of over $200 million, or even $100 million, would any of her films, no matter how good been considered huge successes? This is what I mean above.
  7. I'd rather see Caddyshack 2. Which sadly probably means I will watch it in theaters like Caddyshack 2.
  8. Best part of All-Star game for Ducks' Frederik Andersen was invitation
  9. Apparently the Ducks are a team to watch as the trade deadline approaches
  10. No, most people have enough common sense and don't need more tv to tell them what to do. Then again, most people need tv to tell them what to do. So yes, we need PSA's, because there isn't much common sense in the U.S. anymore. We have become a nation of sheep. (Yes, that was a Sniper reference)
  11. What? They don't have Weather.com, or Accuweather.com or the interwebs? Even AO can look at the 10 day forcast, and say hey, there is some rain coming, let's prepare. And 5-7 days out, look at see that the rain might really be coming, so lets take some steps to relieve the water level. Or in AO's case, complain that there isn't enough rain that will impact the water levels.
  12. Makes you wonder. Was t hat tramp stamp centered properly at one time?
  13. I do it so it sounds like I'm driving a muscle car.
  14. So glad that Andersen said absolutely no to the All Star Game.
  15. And talking about Hubble telescope. The person that it was named after, Edwin Hubble made most of his discoveries from Mt. Wilson in Southern California.
  16. Unless InO was started by aliens. Stradling is probably from one of their advanced patrol recon teams. The distribution of the InO throughout the nation is really just a countdown to when their entire fleet gets here.
  17. Depends on if they were in a hurry because they needed to get to prayers. Then it will be ok.
  18. How good are the movies. I know on Netflix, the movies are like ancient for streaming. Nothing recent. Which would be the only selling point for me. I have also noticed that Amazon is getting expensive. Bought a Qi Battery case for my Galaxy. At the time, on Amazon, it was $35. On Ebay it was $32. Found a shop in New York through Google Shopping that sold it for $22 including shipping.
  19. Commercials are usually more fun than the game. Hate halftime, it's just too long and boring. And the game would be more fun, if it were on a Saturday. Then you could really stuff and drink yourself silly.
  20. This guy is probably first in line calling them and idoits.
  21. Was it a chick batting? Maybe she wasn't used to gripping a bat?
  22. Feel for you. My dog is going on 17. She is pretty much blind. She sleeps a lot, bumps into everything, and probably because she is blind is very clingy to people. She occassionally does go to the bathroom inside. But usually that's when she's been kept inside for a long time. So it's usually not her fault. Odd thing is. There is a stray that hangs around the outside of the house. If the stray walks by, I guess my dog smells her, because she perks up, and will either start barking or hunting. But because she's blind, she could bump into the cat, and it takes her a while before she realizes it was the cat, and by that time the cat has walked away 3 feet where the dog can't find her.
  23. Well, how else are they going to pay the gift that keeps on giving that is Greece.
  24. This brilliant new case gives your iPhone a second display Just need the Chinese to copy it, and bring the price point down and for Android phones.
  25. Well the cop is black. Whitey only fired when his partner fired. It's not like he shot the driver who was cooperating.
