    Interstellar. A great Science Fiction movie about trying to find a new planet to colonize. Then the shark is jumped and the guy that is floating in space meets a cube that is a portal to the past, yet he cannot reach the past only send messages to the past. But still ends up from floating in space and death to on Earth. Oh wait, you said best plot twists and not horrible plot twists.

    SR-71. It's like driving a pinto, and when you get up to over 100 mph, it turns into a Ferrari. just an amazing piece of engineering. Still probably a jet, if still commissioned, that could hold it's own against anything.
