  1. India Concerned ISIS May Get Access to Pakistan’s Nuclear Arms
  2. Devante Smith-Pelly has a bit of Twitter fun at expense of ex-Anaheim teammates

  4. Damn. $1599 for a computer. $799 for a camcorder. $159 for a cd player. And $200 for a cell phone. I don't feel so bad paying $600 for a smartphone now.
  5. And yet, I'd rather have that headline than whatever is coming for the Ducks tomorrow.
  6. You know. I don't know about these types of bounce offs. But I would think that a bumper falling off of one car and the hubcaps falling off of the other one would mean -5 points off the 10 score.
  7. Just to add to the above. Richie is a LW. And Theodore is a L shooting Defensemen.
  8. Looking at the numbers. I think the only major unrestricted FA is Beleskey and Fleishman. And I don't think the Ducks can re-sign Belesky no matter what. As the playoffs have shown though. Kessler, who has a year left till FA, should be extended. So if you are able to sign the unrestricted free agents. That means pretty much Beleskey LW is your loss. And maybe I'm drinking too much Cool Aid. But I think Sekac at LW can replace him on the #1a line. Fleishman would be replaced by Etem. So you would need probably a #4 LW. Defense wise, Beuchemin, Holzer and Souray are FA's. Beuchemin can be replaced by Wiesnewski. So it'll come down to if the top can step up.
  9. He did stop a lot of the those shots. I mean are Ducks fan so stupid that when the hawks have what, almost 10 odd man rushes in the second period, that because he didn't stop all of them he is a crap goalie? So far in this thread my question has been answered.
  10. Iron dome or whatever it is called is pretty technological. But my point is this. What ISIS is doing is just scary. You have to admit, most of the Middle East would like nothing better than seeing Israel wiped out. Egypt, Libia, Iran, Iraq, probably Turkey, Saudis and so on. Not the countries, but the people. But now you have a subset of those people that just went all in with a 27 offsuite. We would like to think that ISIS is like a beehive. Destroy the beehive, kill the queen and it's done. ISIS is more like roaches or probably for that area more appropriately locusts. You can't kill them all. You kill some of them, and more come back. And all they want to do is destroy everything in it's path. You look at the places they have overrun, and all are just ghosttowns. It's like WW1 and trench warfare. ISIS will take house by house. Doesn't matter if they suffer 1 or 100 casualties. And you can be assured that when they take that house and if there are any civilians. They will execute them publicly to get x10 more recruits to replace the losses. This is different than what Israel has faced so far. Right now, the terrorists are trying to get rid of Israel by striking at the heart. What ISIS will try to do is take block by block. Town by town. And their strategy so far has been this. ISIS threatens town. Country evacuates citizens of that town. ISIS doesn't care if it kills civilians or military, and attack and takes over. Country bombs town once no civilians are in play, so does ISIS. Again, ISIS doesn't care. Like locusts, they go to the next town. Rinse and repeat. I hope I'm wrong. But this is what I see coming. This isn't a country vs country war. This is countries vs ideology war. And ideaologies are hard to kill because they just don't have rules most of the time. You can kill all Sunni's, but as a civilized society you can't. ISIS will kill all non Sunni's though. That's what makes them dangerous.
  11. I didn't see a problem in Andersen's goaltending. Look at the lines and who was scoring. As I said before, look at all the goals scored the last two games. All screens or inside the red dot, usually uncontested. This really showed the inexperience by the D.
  12. So they are writing up a play in a TO, and Getzlaf skates away?
  13. Right now, it's like watching the Angels play a college team. Every so often the college team will look good. But the Angels will always be in control.
  14. That must be like 20 goals the hawks have scored on the power play this series.
  15. Yay, another odd man rush when the #1 line is up.
  16. Geeze you can see the hawks strategy. Get the puck on the wing. Then throw it through the creese to the open man on the other wing and get an open net if you connect.
  17. Postgame comments. Ducks style. Getzlaf isn't at 100%, that's why he didn't practice yesterday. But I still trotted him out constantly because he gave us the best chance to win.
  18. I disagree with 1. #2. Was that Bruce's biggest mistake? someone hasn't played all playoffs. And really, if Beauch is gone next season, that player is probably the #1 dman. not goalie..
  19. So would you move Kessler to the #1 line and Getzlaf to the #2?
  20. 8 shorthanded rushes this period for the hawks. Geezus and now a penalty.
