Another question. But why is betting on fantasy sports legal, but betting on sports illegal? And hypothetically, wouldn't it be harder for a team to throw a game without gaining suspicion, than say an individual player throwing a game? You look at some of the payouts that is happening. The gambler can make more money in one game, than the players that he is betting on. At some point, the gamblers are going to hedge their bets and make sure that that player everyone has, doesn't have the game they are supposed to have.

I guess someone has to pay for Star Wars and Avenger land. Even just a day pass is way up there. The costs just to take the family is enough to mortgage the house.

I think you are right on the win now. And the last game really showed, an ace would be nice. We were facing Hammels, who pitched a complete game. They faced Richards who got pulled in the 6th. In a long season, having a solid rotation is key. In a one game playoff/playoff structure, having aces is key. Ace and a #4 hitter to try and win it all. If we stand pat, do we compare if the Rangers stand pat, or the Astros stand pat? Astros also have plenty of money to spend. Rangers core is coming back next year and they should get Darvish back.
