  1. After going to the Ducks errr, Gulls game on Monday. Samulei's could use a new arena. But I don't think that Arte will opt out by 2019. Unless Tustin gives him a sweetheart deal. But then he will run into a Tampa Bay/Atlanta type problem, being too far away from the fans. So my guess is, he will sell by 2029. If not by 2019, to maximize his $$.
  2. Good luck to the Rangers. Unfortunately for the Ducks. We are picked to win it all. Kiss of death.
  3. Since there hasn't been any meaningful Trump news lately. El Chapo Is Reportedly Offering $100 Million for the Capture of Donald Trump "Dead or Alive"
  4. I'd rather throw money at the problem. And there are free agent options this offseason that are just as good, worth throwing at.
  5. Los Angeles expansion is the hot topic at NFL owners’ meeting This is what is going to happen IMO. You can't get 3 teams in LA. Just can't. That might kill the Carson project. Kroenke has the best plan, since he has the financing and land. Even though St Louis might be giving the Rams the best stadium plan. Kroenke is also worth $7.6 billion according to Forbes. So this is what I think is going to happen. Kroenke will be given the green light. But he will have to pay the Chargers a territorial infringement fee of $500 million, that will go towards the new stadium in San Diego. Raiders will be told to sit quiet for now. The league will get a big relocation fee from Kroenke also, like a billion. So he pays $1.5 billion + $1ish billion for the stadium or $2.5 billion est. According to Forbes, Cowboys are valued at $4 billion. Rams at $1.45 billion. A team in LA with it's own stadium will be closer to if not more than the Cowboys, see Clippers. So $1.45 + $2.5 is still less than the $4 billion+ it will probably be worth. So Kroenke will get a new stadium in Los Angeles. The Chargers will get a new stadium in San Diego. Which means St Louis will suck it. But it's better than San Diego and St Louis sucking it. Raiders will be in limbo. Then the NFL will announce their plan to expand to Britain. British Raiders, entire new territory for them. Of course Britain will have to build a stadium or partially for them. 2 new territories, LA and Britain. 3 new stadiums. 1 suck it. With a huge new expansion of the client base.
  6. But he's had this surgery before. It's more of a bone spur than a major surgery. Maybe I'm misremembering?
  7. Russia Steps Up Role in Syria as Assad Begins a Ground Attack I liked this part of the article. So we are supplying the side that is fighting with Al Qaeda.
  8. Wilson. At $20.5 million. No Value. But at $10 million? I think someone would take a chance at him. At pre injury a 3.89 ERA, 1.24 WHIP. Not ace numbers, but still a very servicable #3/4 type numbers. For a team that might be short on the bottom and even mid end of the rotation. At $10 million for an entire season, he would be worth a shot. And it would at least free $10 million more to throw at a FA.
  9. Tank you should know that answer. What happens is what happened when the dumbshit tried to commit suicide in Burbank a few years ago. Of course he chickened out. And killed what, a dozen people and cost the taxpayers millions in the process.
  10. From what I'm seeing, his primary position is 2B. And well, you have a munchkin signed for many many years at that position for the Sux. So he's pretty much a rover without a position on the team. He has no power, mainly an obp type player. That's why I'm thinking he could be moved.
  11. I am picturing Woody Harrelson in Yellowstone park in the movie Day after Tommorrow now.
  12. It depends on a few things. Did they almost run her over trying to escape? Did it look like they would run over others? Did they brandish a gun at any point? but after all is said and done, she's a badass.
  13. And the moves I'd make. Intially I thought we don't need a big pitcher. But then you look at Houston and Keuchel and even the Yanks with Tanaka (The Yanks didn't get blown out, they just couldn't score) and the Rangers with Hammels. Ace's aren't for the regular season. Ace's are for when you need to win that one game. And the Angels do not have that type of pitcher. Cespedes. He fits best in the #4 slot. Moving Poo Holes to #5, and giving protection for Trout at #3. You are going to overpay in whatever LF you get. So might as well overpay with a hitter than in the #4 spot can drive in 100 runs. Trade porn. Trade one of the lesser pitchers to the Red Sox for Brock Holt. Inexpensive utility guy. That we can put in the #1 slot, and that can play 2B. Lineup of: Holt 2B Calhoun RF Trout CF Cespedes LF Pujols 1B Cron DH Aybar SS Perez C Cowart 3B With those moves, you would also lose no draft picks. Expensive as shit to acquire. But that would be my ideal offseason.
  14. It's just too bad one of these teams will be eliminated. One game playoffs is what is deserved when you don't win your division. But damn, they have the second and third best records in the mlb.
  15. Ducks' Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry separated to balance out scoring
  16. US Officials Ask How ISIS Got So Many Toyota Trucks
  17. Top general recommends keeping more US troops in Afghanistan So, the chain of events the last few days were. We didn't do it. We were in the area. We might have done it. It was the Afgans that called the strike. and finally, we did it.
  18. That's what I was thinking also. Because so far, the right players he has spent on are Pujols, Hamilton, and Trout. I guess in baseball, batting .333 is pretty good.
  19. I always thought he was a part owner of the A's. A small part, but still part owner. That team needs to move to a real stadium, and get real revenues so it can spend competitive dollars. Half of the moves he makes is due to financial constraints more than helping the team.
