Yes, it's confirmed. As a geek, it's interesting in a way the mishmash of tech. Starting with the PC, going to mac, going to internet, going to chat rooms, going to servers, going to gaming. The story lines that I'm picking up really seem like IBM PC, Mac, AOL, Dell, probably like a Belkin type server, Ultima, Atari. I'm sure they will get to World of Warcraft soon. I think the biggest problem with season 1 is that they made it like there wouldn't be a season 2. So everything is rushed. It went from making the cheap PC. To now everything in season 2. I would have liked to see more of the PC vs Mac wars that led to a server system. Which could have led to the dial up vs broadband conflict.

Unfortunately I agree. But the upper tier SP's are safe bets compared to the upper tier SP's the Angels currently have. Plausible scenarios next season. Weavers fastball is in the 70 mph range. CJ's surgery wasn't successful. Heaney does a Shoemaker. Skaggs doesn't come back to form. And IMO, none of our current starters are #1 type starters next season.

Personally, I think that this suspension is absurd. He broke no rules. And the Players Union will have a lot to say about this. They will not give the commissioner this type of power. Because as baseball goes, this type of precedence of suspending a player just because NY is mad is a bad road to go down. This is one of those points, that can cause a shutdown after the 2016 CBA. Because it's just too much power for the Commissioners office to suspend someone on a whim. And that's what it is, since it's something that happens all the time. commissioner has said that this rule was broken. 5.09 (a) (13) which reads: Considering A the defender never touched the bag thus the play was still alive at second. B he did not leave the baseline. It's one thing to come out and say that this will no longer be tollerated, and put every player on notice. Which is what should be done. It's totally another thing to all of a sudden say this is not legal, you are suspended because we like NY better. Even though the rules themselves say it was a legal play.

And yet people have the biggest hard on for Heyward. The guy that was the #4 hitter for the team with the best record in baseball. Who only had 60 RBI's. With a career high of 82 RBI's in a season. Who with runners in scoring position had a .708 OPS, .264 avg, .359 OBP. He can't hit anybody in. Just walk in pressure situations and hope the guy behind him can get the job done. Oh, and in three years, .729 OPS with a high OBP and low avg. You know the saying, we want a hitter, not a belly itcher. And Heyward is a belly itcher. Crawford 2.0.

So what happens if Utley appeals? This is going to get interesting.
