  1. Do what everyone other city does. Drop them off at skid row and let LA handle it.
  2. Is that an OLED newspaper in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
  3. Damn Hector. Way to show the world, that we have all been exercising wrong this whole time.
  4. have to remember. Last season of the 12 Qualifying FA's, two did not receive an offer till the new year. Scherzer signed 1/21/15 7/$210 Shields signed 2/11/15 4/$75 While this year pitchers went quick. It'll be interesting to see how the OF market shapes up. Since there are so many of them. Also remember, regarding the draft picks. There are some teams looking for OF help, that have protected first rounds. I believe both the Tigers and White Sox have protected picks.
  5. Geeze Adam. He should be watching TVG. I expected him to be handicapping at a 3rd grade level by now.
  6. Yeah, what a bummer of a rainstorm. Or channeling my inner AO. El Nada.
  7. That's weird. I was going to say something about 3k hits. Then I looked at his stats, and not even close. I really thought Bags and Biggio both had 3k. Scratch him off the list. Hoff and Griff.
  8. Anaheim Ducks and Jonathan Drouin, Why A Deal Could Be Made Conditional first, following years second, and one or two youngsters not named Ritchie or Theodore. Although I would prefer an upcoming restricted FA be added to the mix, can understand the cap issues on why TB would not want them. Maybe a 3 way trade with a team that needs a goalie?
  9. That Morongo and Sycuan are on the list already makes the list bad. Must have been written by a chick that likes to shop. Hey look at that, written by a Kelly.
  10. Six teams that should trade for Lightning's Jonathan Drouin While no mention of the Ducks or Kings. A 20 year old that projects to be a top 6 forward has to be of interest. On the Ducks side, we have a lot of restricted FA's this coming offseason.
  11. And I don't get this part: Then later: I think I might be on the side of the Waco's.
  12. Ranchers are gnar. Don't mess with them. They take FarmersOnly.com pretty seriously.
  13. Well, considering my numbeers were from the CBA, none of the CBT money goes tot he small markets.
  14. Ever since Murray called this team out, it's been a night and day difference.
  15. Ducks defenseman Fowler sidelined 4-6 weeks with sprained knee
  16. Saudi Arabia cuts off relations with Iran, recalls diplomats in dispute over execution
  17. Iran and Saudi Arabia Exchange Heated Words After Execution of Shiite Cleric Well, this can't be good.
  18. FYI. Biggest misconception about the CBT is that it helps small market teams. $0 of any funds collected from the CBT goes to small market teams. Most of the money collected in the CBT goes to various player funds. First $2.3 million goes to fund player benefits. Over that amount 50% goes to player benefits 25% goes to the Industry growth fund 25% goes to funding obligations arising from players benefit plans Industry Growth fund is pretty much for marketing of the game. So IMO, as far as union goes. As long as players salaries keep going up. The players see a very large benefit to a lower CBT.
  19. Looking at it more, it would be $20 + $24 + $80-96. So max of 8/$124-$140, min of 8/$44. With only $3 million counted against the cap initially. If he hits his marks, you would have to think he's successful. So $15-18 million if he's successful. And a bit over $5 if he's unsuccessful. I'd still take that. It's actually a great way to get around the guaranteed contract. A really great way to get around it.
  20. Even still. $10-12 million if he hits his incentives. Which means he is productive, is a steal in the MLB economy.
