Because the shits changed gates after I got my boarding pass, was 2 minutes late, with no overhead compartments available, so had to have my computer in front of me under the seat. Yeah, I've had one of those incidents Cals. Flying to Vermont through Philly. Land in Philly to catch my connecting flight to Vermont. Crystal clear weather in both Vermont and Philly. Guess the problem was that the flight out of Virginia or wherever was snowed in. So it couldn't make it to Philly. Had to spend 8 hours at the airport waiting for a plane to get there. When it probably would have been easier to turn back a returning flight, since it couldn't take off to get to Virginia or whatever.

So the day after, what do you guys really think? I liked what I saw from Perron so far. He wasn't afraid to shoot the puck. Wasn't afraid to throw the body around. Seemed to gel well with the players. Overall, except for the second where the Ducks for some reason stopped pressing and played prevent defense (which never works well), I thought it was a good game. We had plenty of opportunities to tie/win the game. Just couldn't capitalize on it. The kick goal was one, the open netter where our guys pretty much knocked it off each others stick was another. I'd be happy if they played like last nights first and third periods the rest of the season.

Not really familiar with either player. So we shall see. But in essence we traded Etem for these two. So it's like one of those non moves the Angels have been making all offseason. Good to unload the Haeglin $ though. Perron is a $3.8 million player, UFA after this season. Clendening $687k, RFA after this season. Haeglin we had signed to $4 million through 2019. I liked the trade for Haeglin at the time. I even liked the extension. But his speed just didn't seem to translate well to this team.
