  1. Matt Swanson has the same initials as Mike Scioscia. Wake up sheeple.
  2. I have on small items... I'm a fisherman and my online tackle store has been out of lots of things and some things are back ordered all the way until March of next year. I've noticed certain items at Trader Joe's being out of stock frequently that never were before. When I ask about them, they talk about the supply chain... No completely empty shelves though. Limits on paper products at Costco - but plenty available.
  3. I hate the Astros, but damn - they’re good. I also hate the Sox, but they’re pretty damn good too. Both teams get after it. The Astros just won’t freakin’ die, even though I want them to. I keep waiting for them to be irrelevant, but it isn’t happening. The Sox and Giants have been the closest thing to being dominant since 2004. Pisses me off. That all being said, it’s a heck of a series.
  4. I could score a run on the third out, as long as I crossed home before the last out was made.
  5. Back in the day, I dominated Intellivision baseball.
  6. Which one of the three Musketeers is this Dodger reliever coming into the game?
  7. Austin Riley... Got me to thinking... why is it that Texas has cornered the market on first names... Dallas, Austin, Houston, Irving, Tyler, Allen...
  8. Bases loaded... one out for the Braves in the bottom of the 4th... 2-2
  9. Eduardo Rodriguez looked impressive last night...
  10. What about Tomoyuki Sugano? He didn't sign last year, but I think he only returned to Japan on a one year deal. I have no idea if he's any good or if he's going to try and make the leap to MLB. Any other Japanese pitchers of note?
  11. I like players showing emotion and having a bit of swagger... I prefer it when it's spontaneous and in a celebratory manner. I'm old school. I prefer guys like Barry Sanders or Mike Trout who go about their greatness without showing up their opponents, but I appreciate players who can walk the talk. My favorite athlete/sports figure of all-time is Muhammad Ali. Nobody did it better. I'm all over the place on this stuff... it also depends on who is doing it and when they're doing it. I know that's not necessarily fair. Just being honest. At the end of the day, I go back and forth on the whole thing... When I was actively playing sports, I never did it and I didn't like it when my opponents did it. It definitely amped me up.
