    BTW... If you want to read an absolutely great book, pick up "The Soul of Baseball: A Road Trip Through Buck O'Neil's America." It's written by Joe Posnanski and it's great read.

    Oliva won 3 batting titles, lead the league in hits 5 times and doubles, 4 times. Eight time all-star and a career batting average of .304. The dude was a stud. I don't have a problem with him being the HOF. Jim Kaat won an amazing 16 gold gloves. I don't know if he's HOF worthy, but 16 GG's is pretty impressive.
