    I think the owners going to a $700K minimum salary is huge. That's a $125K increase over what they get now. Plus the fact that they have a $30 million bonus pool on the table when there wasn't even such a thing in the past is also huge. Yes, the players want more than $30 million, but going from zero to $30 million is a nice offer, IMO.

    It depends on the mask. In any case - if someone wants to wear a mask, why should that be a concern of anyone? Seriously. On one hand, you say you don't want to get the vaccine, but on the other hand - chastise people who choose to wear a mask. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted, but I don't judge people who choose not to. I also choose to wear a mask when I'm inside in a crowded location, but if there is no mandate to wear one and others don't - I don't judge them. I haven't gotten Covid so far. I take precautions because I am a care-giver to my mother-in-law who is pretty old.

    So my niece recently graduated from college with a degree in accounting. I asked her what she was planning to do with her degree and she said, "I'm going to work for KFC." I was a little surprised... I said, "That's great, but why KFC?" She replied... "It's on my bucket list."

    If this is anything like 1972, it will be somewhat of a disaster. In 1972 MLB resumed their schedule without making any adjustments and as a result of that - some teams played more games than others... The final AL East Standings that year... Detroit 86-70 Boston 85-70. Boston missed the play-offs. There were no make up games. So the cancelling of the first two series in April sets the 2022 season up for a similar scenario. All of the teams will not play the same number of games. Some will play 5 games less, some 6 and some 7 games less.
