    Joe Maddon was a self promoting narcissist. Like IP said in another thread, he was style over substance. He thinks he’s one of the boys and he loves the spotlight. He was the effin manager, not a fraternity brother. He constantly put his foot in his mouth… Example - During Spring Training, he talked about moving Trout out of CF without talking to him about it. There are tons of other examples. Walking Seager in Texas with the bases loaded was the ultimate “Look at me” Joe move. ”Results don’t matter.” Famous last words because, news flash Joe - results do matter. Good riddance.
