So, it's worse than we thought.

Just when you think things can't get any worse.... It's really remarkable. It's amazing this organization actually won a World Series, landed the greatest player of this generation and the most amazing player in the world in Ohtani. The same organization has seen the murder of Lyman Bostock, the suicide of Donnie Moore, the tragic death of Nick Adenhart, the death of Tyler Skaggs...

I had a thought... if the universal DH had been around when Ohtani was deciding where to sign... I wonder if he would have still signed with the Angels.

In the long run, Trout will be fine in that he's financially secure. The idea that this injury could lessen the chance for him to fulfill his potential fully is the sad thing. He's so gifted, so special, and a "once-in-a-generation" talent. To see him potentially not fully capitalize on it all is disappointing. I think about Mark Prior who could have been great, possibly HOF worthy had it not been for injuries. It's sad when players are unable to use their talents to their fullest because of injury. Then again, life isn't fair. Hopefully, this is manageable for Trout.

This actually makes me sad, more than anything. Sad for him most of all.

I saw a trailer for "Samaritan" starring Sly Stallone. I have no idea if he's a super hero from one of the comic book companies or what. I have some interest in seeing it because I like Stallone. I don't like all his movies, but I love Rocky. I love interesting characters and this movie has a hint of that.

I really don't know the difference between Marvel or DC or any other comic book/super hero deal... For the most part they just don't interest me. I've seen a few Spiderman's... but it was a while ago. Growing up, Spiderman was my favorite... but I haven't seen any of the newer ones. It also seems like too much work to keep up with all the different super heroes. Same goes for all the Star Wars stuff...
