    The Twins made him a 10 year offer... and they are fully aware of his medicals. The doctors are always going to give the "worst case scenario" in their evaluations. GM's have to be willing to take risks sometimes. Jim Duqette said when he was with the Mets they didn't pursue Vlad Guerrero because of his medicals... Vlad signed with the Angels and won an MVP. Jim Bowden said when he wanted to sign Ron Gant his medical team told him he would never play baseball again after his motorcycle accident and he signed Gant anyway and Gant had an OPS+ of 146.
