    If you go back to that thread... you'll see reference to a certain Canadian, who apparently was/is a big Gary Sanchez fan. If you search "Gary Sanchez is a POS" - (put your search in quotes)... you'll see I've been saying that ever since that day.

    I'd like this team get its swagger back and to be the lead sports story in the local news for what they've done on the field and not off of it. And... See this team play meaningful games in September and October which would make them relevant again. Have Angels games be the hottest ticket in town and a stadium full of fans wearing red every night. See Jered Weaver inducted into the Angels HOF and Tim Salmon and Garrett Anderson's numbers retired. I'd like them to put a first rate broadcast team together and be the featured game on Sunday Night baseball frequently. I want Shohei Ohtani to join Mike Trout as a life-long Angel. I just want Angels baseball to be fun again.

    The way the Angels have handled and managed the entire broadcast operation has been a joke, IMO. This is just another example of that.

    As fans, so much is out of our control. Well, "so much" as in just about everything. When stuff like this hits the news, it makes me cringe. I hate it when my favorite teams make more news for what they do off the field more so than on it. This organization has had more than its share of bad press, bad news and cringe worthy stuff. It's disappointing. Right now; more than anything, the team and even us fans sort of need a fresh start. New ownership will hopefully provide that. Maybe this is why Jose Mota left. If so, that's sad. Mota is a outstanding human being. He's the kind of guy an organization should love having represent them. Stuff like this adds to the second banana label the Angels get being in the L.A. market. It shouldn't be so hard to be an organization that has some class, but apparently it is. Arte Moreno has created a pretty crappy culture.

    Watched the first episode of Vienna Blood on PBS. Will be watching the rest of the 3 seasons. Also watched "American Underdog" - Kurt Warner's story. I enjoyed it very much. Available on Hulu.
