  1. Gwynn being in the HOF is irrelevant to this discussion, IMO. Keith Hernandez has a career OBP of .384. He's not in the HOF. Tim Salmon has a career OBP of .385... If you think Abreu should be in the HOF, great. I don't care enough to argue the point, but using Gwynn's OBP is silly, IMO
  2. One of the main reasons Tony Gwynn is in the HOF is because he led the league in hitting 8 times. He was the best hitter in baseball in 8 seasons of his career. That means something. There isn't one set of criteria used to determine HOF worthiness. Players get in for different reasons (right or wrong). Gwynn was great. Lofton was very good. Bobby Abreu was very good. The HOF means different things to different people. Heck, since Harold Baines is in, does it really matter?
  3. 4. Not likely since Dodger fans will outnumber Angel fans significantly.
  5. Great to see all the new folks joining in on all the conversations!
  6. I have a feeling we are going to see the "Arte is going to sell" narrative all year long (or some variation of that). However, I believe that's just wishful thinking.
  7. For the Angels to even be in the conversation is pretty sad.
  8. The black crows are hard to handle
  9. Merry Christmas. Wishing you all tremendous blessings!
  10. Hell, give them keys and they can steal your car!
  11. Shohei Ohtani gifted a brand new Porsche to the wife of Los Angeles Dodgers teammate Joe Kelly after she campaigned to get the free agent to sign with the Dodgers, offering her husband’s No. 17 jersey if he came to Los Angeles.
