    We sure don't. I get that. Arte could surprise us all in the end, but I think most of us are skeptical of that possibility. It's getting close to opening day. The way the team is presently constructed just doesn't inspire much confidence from a fan's point of view. It's still baseball and surprises happen all the time. I think a lot of fans have baseball fatigue and the season hasn't even started.

    Whoever signs Snell isn't going to have the benefit of having him for a full season. It's going to take some time for him to get ready and be able to pitch in the regular season. I don't have numbers to support this, but I think pitchers who get don't have the benefit of a full spring training, suffer some because of it.

    I've tried over and over and over to give Arte the benefit of the doubt in most things, but I just don't understand what he's doing. Either you give Perry autonomy or you move on.... This off season hasn't made much sense. As always... I try not to get too worked up about things out of my control. What I can control is my own fandom and I am not overly excited about this season. I'll still watch, but it's becoming less of a priority every day.
