  1. Teams really had to see Snell pitch a sim game to pique their interest? Being a Cy Young winner ain't what it used to be.
  2. I think you have a very creative imagination and it's interesting to see these scenarios play out in your head. As long as ticket sales remain constant, all this "fan outrage" is just noise.
  3. @BTH - at the end of the day, I'm just having fun. But... this isn't NY or Boston. There's no such thing as "fan pressure" in Anaheim.
  4. I am trying to visualize his staff meetings... Arte: "John what are they saying on AW?" Carpino: "BTH thinks Perry is throwing a Hail Mary." Hmmm.
  5. You think Arte is aware of fan reaction online? And fans saying "they aren't going to games" can be substantiated or not by ticket sales. I think you're reaching.
  6. What exactly does fan pressure look like and how would it make its way to Arte?
  7. The worst thing about "all things Angels" is that more and more fans are becoming apathetic. The organization has taken a giant step backward. Thank goodness, they still have Mike Trout or it could be worse.
  8. I must admit, I get a little tired of hearing anything about how the "Dodgers are run." They've won one WS in a Covid shortened year despite all the money they spend and all the talent they develop. Yes, I'd take all of that for the Angels in a heart-beat, but the Dodgers aren't the end-all, be-all in baseball. The Braves are just as successful. The Astros (yes, I know) are more successful. F the Dodgers. Baseball is hard. If anything, I'd like to see a change in the organizational culture. The Angels seem to be dysfunctional. When Stoneman and Scioscia came to Anaheim they changed the culture. The culture has gone down hill ever since they lost autonomy. That's on Arte.
  9. The world has gone crazy. Bat shit, over the top, crazy.
