    Jerry West approves of this thread... Awesome finish last night. I'm happy for Howie and even happier the team won and that's all that matters. It doesn't change my overall opinion of him as a good, but not spectacular 2B.

    I will never understand the Joe Blanton signing. The dude has priors. He's coming off back to back high ERA seasons... and face it - if your best quality is being an "innings eater" - there's probably not a lot of upside to your game.

    Trout should hit lead off... and it shouldn't stop there - he should be the first one on the bus for road trips, first one in the dugout each day, first one to call it a night, first one up in the morning, etc. Good things happen when he's leading off and playing well.
